Private Finished Bursting the Angel’s Bubble

A crowd seemed to be surrounding a part of the park, specifically a table. At the table were two individuals, one man wearing ornate armor, and the other being the infamous Altizica. You got this Dezul! Put him in his place! He’s nothing! Comments like that seemed to expel out many of the viewers watching. The two seemed to be preparing to arm wrestle, they were just waiting for the signal.

“You ready for this punk? Can’t believe you thought you could win this.“ The armored man, apparently named Dezul, told Altizica. Altizica merely smirked in response as he waited. Once a loud GO! was said the crowed grew in a massive cheer for Dezul, but quickly fell quiet afterwards. Dezul obviously was using all of his might but didn’t even seem to budge Alt’s arm. Altizica in the meantime was checking his phone, texting someone. Once Alt sent his text he pocketed his phone and looked at Dezul, simply asking “It’s my turn now?” before slamming Dezul’s arm into the table, cracking the table in the process and sending Dezul smashing into the ground. While the crowd watched Dezul stunned, Alt was laughing hysterically. “Come on man, was that actually an attempt? If I knew that was all you got I wouldn’t even have challenged you to a arm wrestle. Can’t believe I wasted my time with this.”

Altizica immediately turned and looked at Remiel as he heard them talk. A big smile swept across his face as he saw the little angel. “Oh Remiel, pleasure to see you here. And what, pray tell, am I then my dear angel?” Alt’s mood definitely seemed to be in a much cheerier place as Remiel arrive to the scene. Altizica was looking for some sort of entertainment and oh boy did he find it. “I’m really not sure if you fully understand who your talking to Remiel. Your lucky I’m pretty easy going honestly.”

Altizica chuckled a little and lounged back on the remains of the table he rested on. “Obviously your new here hun, I wouldn’t be throwing around the term abomination here or you might make some people upset. My kind prefer the term ‘Eldritch’, ‘Outer Gods’, or ‘Great Old Ones’ if you’d mind. Second on this list...I mean I have killed...or more specifically eaten gods before so I think I do kinda deserve that title. And lastly, this was all in good fun. You come to chastise me for acting childish yet ignore the very god who your here protecting who did the exact same thing before the arm wrestle? You know..typically those who are ‘just’ view both sides of the conflict before coming in here to spout on about their views.”

Altizica shrugs and waves his hand dismissively. “Yes yes Remiel so you keep saying. Quite frankly I don’t give a damn if I’m considered a god or not. And yes Dezul probably wouldn’t tell you that. Probably because he has never done that. You know there are plenty of beings that rival gods in power right? I mean I was here before any of the gods were around anyways. Personally it’s hard for me to get why you put them on such high pedestals compared to everyone else. I mean sure they’re often powerful but not like that powerful. I would have shrugged it off if it was just like...your maker god but with it being every god it’s kinda weird.”

Altizica listened carefully to what Remiel was saying, but then cracked a big smile. “Oh is that so? Well let’s test that little theory of yours then. HEY DEZUL!” Altizica turned to face the god that was leaving the scene. Dezul turned to face Alt “Yea what do you want Alt?”. Alt cracked a bigger smile “The kid has faith you can beat me in a 1 on 1 duel. No tricks, no schemes, just pure fighting. The Great Devourer vs. a God of Battle. What say you?” Dezul thought for a moment before summoning a large flaming axe. “Fine then, your on. We fight until one submits, deal?” Alt nodded and his body cracked and shifted, transforming into his more natural Eldritch form.
