Sage nodded to Aedan as he approached, and then to Malara as well. "Yep! Things have gone pretty well - both with the beach and the campaign itself! I'm really excited for this, and I'm glad to make a difference even if I don't get elected," he said to both. He also nodded to Noli. "It's nice to meet you! Come to enjoy the party?"

Noli pressed the tips of her fingers together over and over as she stared at Malara with wide eyes.

"You really are, aren't you?" she soon asked, quickly believing what Malara said. Certainly it was quick, but Malara had that presence about her...the presence of a deity. Noli had met a deity in the past too--so it wasn't exactly a huge leap in logic for her to believe.

"Ah, yes!! I am Noli Zaphir, Prophet to Goddess Vedite!" she replied, an obvious pride swelling in her as she was able to finish her 'title' this time. Then Sage asked her if she came to join the party, and she seemed thrown off.

"Um, ah, yes?" Noli replied with an obvious hesitation. His question quickly reminded her of her true intentions: to sneak in, grab as much food as she could, and then bail the hell out of there. Her empty stomach suddenly growled at the prospect of obtaining food, and her cheeks flushed red.

"I-I really want to talk more, but can we get food first please?" Noli murmured to Malara, obviously embarrassed as she folded her arms over her stomach.

Malara felt her smile dip a bit at the mention of Vedite. One of her Mother's lackey angels. Asaru of tyranny, if she remembered the Praxian religion correctly. Vedite hated Malara only slightly less than the demigoddess hated the angel.
But she wouldn't let Noli know any of this. Not yet. Pulling her smile back up, she nodded and turned to Sage briefly.

"Yes indeed, Sage. That's why we're here. I assume this will more than cover our entry?"
Malara said as she pulled two twenty dollar bills out of her bra and handed them over.

Turning back to Noli, she gave a wink to the Praxian girl and added, "Let's go eat and talk. I have so much I want to ask you."
Taking Noli by the arm, she tried to pull the girl along towards the food, hoping both to learn more about what was happening back on Mes as well as maybe take the girl home. Laying with another Asaru's prophet would likely piss them off to no end.

Noli beamed as she was taken by the arm, obviously not noticing Malara's brief mood drop at the mention of Vedite.

Once they reached the food, Noli immediately grabbed a plate and started filling it--notably with only vegetarian options. Then she sat and was shoving food down; she wasn't just hungry, she was desperately so.

"So Malara..." Noli began as she took a break from eating. She may have been starving, but she realized if she ate too quickly, she would probably get a stomach ache from her tight corset concealed under her dress.

"Why are you here? Is this your planet? I hadn't heard anything about that..."
