Ronnie wasn't sure how to handle this, he wasn't sure if he could say anything that would make Jasmine feel better. It was hard for Ronnie to tell what would be helpful or what would just cause her to blame herself even more. Which is why he didn't think he was the best person to try to help Jasmine. Which is why he was glad Eric was here.

Ronnie got up from his seat so he won't be in Eric's way. Plus he wanted to keep his distance just in case she or Eric didn't like what he said. Ronnie really didn't like the fake Monday part. He didn't like that Anna & Risky even made that comparison. "You aren't a fake Monday. That's like saying Eric is a fake Sunday. You are Jasmine Kennedy and June Cortez is June Cortez."

"Everything bad that has happened isn't your fault. If its anyone's fault, it's mines." Ronnie fidgeted with his hands and started staring at the ground. "Monday wasn't supposed to be the one to close the portal.... the portal should have never been opened in the first place."

The next Day, Jae arrived at the hospital. He held a plastic bag of various goods from a local corner store. Questions ran through his mind. Firstly, was Jasmine okay? The rumors at school were all sorts of varied and not many were kind to Jasmine. It left Jae baffled how the student body could be so uncaring. Jasmine was hurt and all they could think to do was make up stories? Jae only wished he had known about her condition sooner.

With the help of the hospital staff, Jae found her room and lightly knocked on the door before entering. "Hey, Jasmine." Jae said, "Um, I brought you some things." And he held up his bag. The teen paled at the sight of tubes and wires, but kept his face neutral. Before arriving, Jae had covered his black eye with cheap drug-store foundation. It just hid the ugly purple bruising, but the patch was obvious and his right eye was clearly swollen.

Jae hoped Jasmine wouldn't notice. This trip shouldn't be about him and his own dumb mistakes. Jasmine needed care and attention. "I got magazines, some puzzle books, some candy bars. Um, I wasn't sure what kind you liked so I grabbed different brands."

Eric and Ronnie

Jasmine did stop crying, and felt a pang of shame run up her spine. It made her shiver, and that only worsened the pain in her chest. "I know you guys are trying to make me feel better- I appreciate it, but... but I just. It is my fault. I'm the one that urged everybody to do the spell. To open the portal. Monday getting trapped... that was bad but at least we still had each other. At least we still had home. Now we're stuck here and falling apart and it's all because I got it in my stupid head that we could..."

She collapsed back onto her pillows a bit, sighing and rubbing at the heart monitor patch stuck to her chest. It itched and her agitation made her all the more aware of it. "And now I've gone and messed up again. Made you guys worry about me when it's nothing. I've survived worse, ya know?" She smiled weakly at the two of them, clearly not so sure about that herself.

Jae

The first thing that ran through Jasmine's mind was surprise that this boy- who she didn't know all that well, had come to visit her in the hospital and even brought her things to help her recovery.

The second thing was how swollen Jae's eye was. That was concerning, and she had to shake her head and refocus to pay attention to what he was saying. She smiled at him, a bit stronger today as her bruises has diminished somewhat. The scar on her chest from where they had wired her sternum back together was still raw, but she could live with it.

"Thank you for coming to visit. I- it means a lot to me, really. But are you okay? You look..."

Like he'd been decked by a professional boxer who was holding back. But she didn't know how to say that without sounding rude or presumptuous.

What the hell was a proper hospital convention? For as rough and aggressive as he was, Destra hadn't actually gone to the hospital. He'd seen people visiting on tv, and the like. He let out a quiet growl, heading to the information desk and getting Jasmine's room number. He was really confused about what and more why this had happened.

He was here out of concern. Hella had an almost similar incident, and he wasn't there for her then. Destra didn't want to see another mess like that unfold again. He adjusted the small fruit basket he had under his arm, making his way to her room.

He could tell that there was only her in the room, that was good. He knocked before entering her room.

"I brought you a fruit basket, I hear hospital food is disgusting," he grunted, setting the basket on the table nearest to her. She didn't look as bad as he was expecting. He pulled up a seat, sitting down at her side.

Destra???

Jasmine had not expected Destra of all people to visit her. She had always been personable with him when they'd met up in the community center, but... why was he here, and with a fruit basket at that?

Still, she wasn't about to turn away a visitor. The hospital was lonely, even with Eric coming to visit her nearly every day. And it was worse than normal, because she couldn't just go for a run or find somewhere to explore to get out of her own head. She had to just sit there, stewing in her own negativity.

"Uh, hey. I didn't expect - I mean, the fruit is a nice gesture. How, ah, have you been lately?"

"I've been pretty busy actually. Work, studying, and all that stuff has been keeping me occupied. I had some room to breathe... figured you could use some company so I decided to come visit," he was looking around the room, and kind of visibly sniffing the air.

"I'm glad I did though. The air's so sterile, and the machines... that weird vague sense of urgency. I guess you don't pick up on it as well but you can't not notice it," he frowned and gave her a faint smile. "But, more importantly, how are you doing? "

Eric cradled Jasmine's hand, rubbing the back of it with his thumb in a way he hoped would be comforting.

"It... that wasn't just you. We all went through with it. We all wanted Monday back... hell, if you didn't do it, I probably would have talked everyone into it myself. I don't think any of us really thought about how dangerous that magic stuff was, or what could happen, because... you know, we'd had a lot of wins under our belt already. And we were way too pretty for our plans to ever backfire on us."

He sighed. He didn't know where he was going with this, or if he was even helping. "You shouldn't blame yourself for all this." That was the main takeaway.

Jae forced a smile and waved off her concern. "It was an accident. And my own fault really. It's nothing." He stepped forward, and presented his baggie of goods to her. "How are you doing?" Jae asked and settled into a chair by the bed. What had happened? Jae wasn't sure, as all he knew were wild rumors. "Are you in pain?" He added, concerned. Jasmine was connected to tubes and wiring that it looked painful.

"And, um, do you need me to get schoolwork for you?" He said, making the offer. Though, she may not be feeling well enough for school.
