Molly taps her clawed toes on the lake that has frozen over. She then tentatively steps onto the ice and slides out to the middle. It seemed thick enough to support her weight... much to her satisfaction. Now... the games can begin! Molly then flutters over the lake side and starts to assemble the field. First she puts up two goalnets made out of nothing but large study sticks and colorful rainbow yard on opposite sides of the lake. With the nets now propped up, Molly skates her way back to the lake shoreline, to a couple of people who stopped by to see what it was the mothgirl was setting up.

" Zdravstvuyte dity! Children... tis a cold and restless winter is upon us once more! In such darkening times... we must find joy and laughter... to which I give to you all.... BROOMBALL!" announced Molly as she holds up what appears to be a commandeered volleyball and old straw broomstick.

As the small crowd stares at her, Molly wrap the volleyball under one arm, holds onto the broom with another arm as she sticks it into the mound of snow next to her, and holds up another arm as she points her index finger (which is also her middle finger) up to the sky.

"Rules be simple to follow! There be two teams, each team is to push this ball here into the other team's net. The team with the most points wins! So... whom among you wish to join in the merriment that that be Broomball!? Twill warm your spirits it will!" cried out Molly as she looked out for eager volunteers.

Victor looked around to see if there were any volunteers, but as there were none, he decided to step up to the plate, or to the frozen lake as it were. Wary of the Slippery ice, he made his way over to the Girl.

"I guess I'll play then." He said, shifting his stance as to not break the ice. Even with his short height and lanky body similar to that of a younger person, he might still fall in.

Molly looked to the small unenthusiastic crowd. She stood there blinking, confused as to why not one was trampling over each other to grab their own broomstick and get in the game. Did where they all just really shy? Maybe she should use her powers to... convince a few of them to join. Then a solitary figure shuffled their way over the ice to her, much to her own delight. Molly skates her way little closer to the boy with little effort and holds out an old-fashioned broomstick to him with one of her arms.

"Prefect! Here is your broomstick! Normally there would be six persons per team but... we can do a one on one match if we don't have any more willing players now..."

Molly then scans the crowd for any more volunteers willing to play broomball. If not... she might have to "suggest" a few people into joining in.

"Uh, thanks, I guess." Victor took hold of the broomstick and tested its weight. It was a bit light, but it was long and could be used to hold himself up.

He had experience moving on slippery surfaces (Water, when frozen in time was quite similar to ice). What he didn't have was experience in sports. Thankfully, it seemed easy, just get the (stolen?) Ball into the other net, and protect his net from the same.

Victor half skated, half skid over to one of the ramshackle nets made from sticks.

"Is it best out of three?" He asked, ready to play.

With no other willing volunteers, she looks back to the boy and nods her head in agreement.

"Da! Best out of three works for me!" she exclaimed as moves the volleyball roughly to the center of the lake before she slides on over to her own makeshift net on the opposite side from where the boy stood.

"Odyn... dva... try... yty! Go" she cried out as she skates with her clawed toes arrive at the middle of the lake at breakneck speeds.

She was quick to arrive to the middle of the lake and corralled the volleyball with her the head of her broomstick. Now that she had control of the volleyball, she slowed down and observed what the boy to try to anticipate her next move.

Victor had no obligation to be the first to get the ball, as he, quite literally, had all the time in the world. Instead, he set the world to 80% entropy and simply observed. at 80% percent, it would be barely noticeable, as he would only be 20% faster than usual. However, it allowed him to see everything and not easily be surprised.

When the mothgirl finished her countdown, he noticed that she used her claws to grip the ice, and propel herself quickly, though it seemed about a brisk walking pace to him in this state.

When she got the ball and slowed down, he set the world back to 100% entropy, and launched himself, using the dent he had bored (when time was stopped, using his shoes tread) to push himself towards the side she was holding the broom in.

"My names Victor, by the way." Now right next to her, he swung at the ball.

As Victor propelled his way over to her, Molly shifted her body to what she predicted to be a head on collision. Instead, the boy swiped at the volleyball after a quick introduction. Molly quickly recovered as she spun around, watching volleyball roll across the ice and bounce off the small mound of snow surrounding the ice lake and rolls slowly more on her side of the areana. Molly then gives Victor a quick smile.

"Molly Vykradach~ Nice meeting you." introduced Molly before she darts off, using her clawed feet to skate on over volleyball, extending out her broom to try push the ball more on Victor's side of the field, assuming that she was the first to reach the ball that is.

"Vykradach? Are you from Russia?" He shuffled to the center of his side of the court/lake. Being a fan of Dostoevsky's work, he knew a bit of Russian, and he may be wrong but didn't Vykradich mean kidnapper?

He kept an eye on the volleyball. It had bounced to her side and off an embankment. Molly was reaching for the ball. Preparing for her, his next hit was for the goal.

"Mhrrmmm ... used to be part of Russian back when. Now it is Ukraine. I think there is struggle to make it Russia again. They always change the name of the place, so I do not really pay attention to what what they called place that used to be home. Vykradach is Ukrainian, but it sounds like word from the Russian language, which explains your error." Molly commented as she skidded on the ice, she just grabbed the ball before Victor was able to steal the ball back.

Molly then revolves around a Victor, one of her wings brushing against him while goes to line up for a long shot across the other side of the icy lake.

"What about your name Victor? Sounds exotic and western." she asked as she struck the volleyball with the end of her broom and sent it on path to Victor's net. It would likely go inside the net should Victor fail to intercept the ball.

((sorry didn't get notifications for this))

The Moth girl explained her name origin, and though it made sense, Victor wasn't sure, forgetting that he was playing for a moment.

As Molly stole the ball, she revolved around him, and one of her large wings brushed his arm, leaving a thin powdery trace. Would that affect her flying? He wondered.

He thought about his own name. The first part was Roman Latin for Conqueror, and the second an English Town. But he was neither Italian nor British, but actually Australian. "It is a bit exotic, but as much western as yours is."

Turning around, he saw that she had hit the ball, and without the means to stop the ball (without using his powers, of course), it cleanly went between the branches, and the moth girl scored a Goal.
