The Spider-girl seemed intrigued with his eyes. Was it the color? If so, she'd love the residents of Manta Carlos.

As he was being stared at, Marcus, without moving his head, examined the Spidergirl's face. When she was in the pod, and even now, he wouldn't have guessed he was anything but human. The lower half was the only give away.

Its a mystery. Was she made to serve? Did she come from this world? Why is she so similar to this creature who can't seem to communicate at all? How strange. What was her purpose here?

She looked down at her pod and thought about something. As soon as she woke up, she climbed out of that very pod, and then this creature was the first thing she saw after that. What was his role in all of this? She had no records of him being anyone significant.

Actually... she had zero records prior to her awakening.

She had to check something.

Jumping off, she landed gracefully on the ground and skittered towards the pod, inspecting it. There had to be a clue here somewhere. The front of the pod was badly dented, with some scorch marks all around.

Wait. The spider girl just left and went back to its pod. Did it have to get something? Remaining where he was, he continued to watch them.

At least for a short time. He jumped off too, but botched the landing, scraping his knee. Eli grit his teeth, but the pain was already fading. Despite this, he was still hunched over, grasping his leg.

She rummaged around, feeling for any hidden compartments inside. She was sure she had found one, but the sound of the creature hitting the ground caused her to look back. It looked injured.

But she had other things to worry about. Returning her attention to the pod, she tapped on the panels until she heard a hollow reverberation. She took the panel out and pulled out what looked to be a transparent piece of glass with flat circuitry inside. It was no bigger than her hand, but thin.

It must be important for something. She put it back and replaced the panel, then before taking out the next thing she found inside another panel, she decided to check on the creature, realizing she may need to note pained responses.

The stinging gone, he stood up. thanks to the rip in his pants, a small amount of blood could be seen on his knee. Eli looked back at the Spidergirl to see it replace a panel. Did it find something? A quick glance discovered that it didn't hold anything new.

Before he realized what was going on, The Spidergirl had returned its attention to him. Was it studying him? If so, he was thankful it did so peacefully.

She saw the blood, and watched it. This was their lifeline, she decided. This was what kept them alive. She had a limited database on lifeforms and how they worked. It was unknown to her, but she had much more, but due to damages from the crash, they were locked off. In a way it was like getting amnesia.

Crouching down, low enough that her body was almost touching the ground, she reached over and scraped a trail of blood from the wound with the back side of her finger. Then without a word, she brought it up to her face and examined it, rubbing it between the finger and her thumb. There was a metallic smell to it. She glanced at her back to look at the red liquid within the tubes.

No... it was a different shade, and she knew her liquids didn't have this scent.

That was gross, Eli thought, eyeing his blood on the Spidergirls finger. It didn't look that strange to him, but from the way she was studying it as an unknown substance, He would guess that it wasn't blood in those tubes, or at least not Human blood.

(Sorry for being short, I didn't know what else to write)

Glancing back at the creature, she elected to let it be. The injury didn't seem to be that bad, and she had no way to check if any internal damage was suffered, however, the creature wasn't all that damaged by the looks of things, so it'll probably be fine.

She turned back to her pod and climbed back in, inspecting every piece of detail and possible objects of interests. She could see a jack where her neck would be if she laid down, and to her calculations and diagrams, it was right where she could plug the jack into the port at the back of her head, hidden behind a panel of course.

Wiping the last of his blood off his knee, Eli followed Spidergirl over to the pod. The first time he had seen the inside, he was rather distracted, so this time he was amazed at what he saw.

It was questionable though, since he wasn't sure if what he saw was an integration point between the Spidergirl and the pod. If it was, where would it be on her?

She had to watch the creature closely now. It was getting a bit too close to her pod, and there are still some things she might lose if she was careless. There was no telling what attracted the creature's attention, but she couldn't afford to have anything go missing.

If only there was a list of what was supposed to be in there...

The numerous displays were cracked, but as far as she could tell, it was still functional. She needed to protect this. She decided to make a dome, one that she could easily protect. She fired a string of web to her net above and climbed up it. Then, taking a quick glance around the area, she fired streams of web to the trees, thick and strong. She quickly followed this up by making a few strands connect to the ground, trees, and the support structures.

For a moment, it would seem like she was malfunctioning, shooting webs all over the place, but soon enough things would take form. A webframe of her desired dome would take shape, with the pod in the middle. She left a clear entryway on the ground floor, so the creature wouldn't be trapped, but she suspected that she would need to close that off to avoid any others finding the pod too easily.

She was going to need a lot more resources to finish this structure...
