It was a beautiful day, the sun was out shining, and fluffy clouds floated around the sky. There was a slight breeze and it was warm out. Atalia smiled, and sat under a tree, whistling as she began to braid a bracelet for her sister, and herself.

Students passed her without notice, and when a few waved, she'd smile and wave back. Though that was a rare sight. Most were too busy trying to find their classes, or too involved in their own problems to notice Atalia, and she was busy at work with her bracelet to really notice them either. She stuck some of the threads into her mouth to keep them straight, and quit whistling.

Over, under, around, over, under, around she told herself. It was blue, and black, and looked absolutely lovely. She was sure that Elatrion would love it. Come to think of it... Perhaps Marco would like to have it. She hadn't seen him in awhile, and the last time she had, he didn't seem to be feeling too well.

Over, under, across, over, under, "AHH!" Atalia jumped, causing her threads to fly as Marco suddenly plopped down besdie her. Atalia grabbed her chest, and playfully glared at him. She then scrambled for the threads, hiding them in her pockets, trying to keep them secret from him. After all... They were a present for him whenever she finished.

She sighed, "Oh, you scared me! How are you feeling today? You looked a little down the other day... I've been worrying about you."

She looked over Marco's blank smile, ands he wondered what was going on with him. Was he feeling alright? She thought about making him some soup later... But for now maybe she would keep it cool, and see if she could casually, secretively question him.

What a fishy little boy! Atalia laughed at his prolonged response. She smiled brightly, and nodded. "Well, I'm glad to hear that." She said, plucking a blade of grass, and blowing on it, causing it to make an elephant sound. She laughed, and offered him one.

She waved a dismissive hand at his apology, and she nudged him a bit. "No worries, I was just focusing too hard is all. You broke my concentration." Her, concentrating? Hah, that was a good one! Well, she had to say, she could concentrate on the things she thought mattered.

"I'm doing good, just enjoying this beautiful day..." She said, leaning back too, looking up at the clouds. Ata's shoulders touched Marco's, and she began to wonder why she felt so strange. It was like somethig wasn't right. But she couldn't put her finger on what. Marco said he was fine... So why couldn't she just let it go?

A big grin spread across Atalia's face as Marco blushed. It was truly adorable. Ata leaned in, and kissed him on the cheek softly, before blowing into the grass again. Though Atalia's short attention span quickly became bored with the little activity, and she tossed her blade of grass to the side. "It's fine, silly." She nudged him a little, and laughed at his embarrassment. She loved his laugh.

"Oopsies,"

Atalia bursted into laughter as he said this, batting his eyelashes. He definately knew how to make her laugh! Atalia grinned, "that's okay, concentrating isn't something I do often, so when I get into it... I really get into it!" She stuck out her tongue playfully and looked up at the sky as well. She could see little puff ball clouds floating above them through the tree, and she smiled a bit.

Though Atalia bit her lip a little; she was unsure about Marco. She coudln't help but worry about him, despite him saying he was okay. She couldn't help but worry about the people she cared about the most.

"You're such a sweetheart,"

Now it was Atalia's turn to blush. She sucked her tongue back in her mouth, and she turned a bright, cherry red. She shrugged and poked him back with a little laugh. She brought her knees to her chest, and hugged, them, resting her knees upon them, and she sighed.

A bit lost for words, Atalia looked over at Marco, and wondered what he was thinking, so she thought she would ask. "What are you thinking about Marco?"

She looked at his sparkling eyes, and it made her grin. His eyes, his laugh, she lovingly, and mentally sighed. Though, she found herself blushing again as she thought about him, right in front of him!

Marco poked her again, and she squirmed a bit, laughing. She rose up to fingers locked and loaded for poking. "Wanna bet?" She said, with an raised eyebrow. She bursted into laughter, and slowly, her blush disappeared. It was nice being able to play around with Marco. Some people were just so stuck in the mud sometimes. It kinda made her feel bad.

"Just wondering about you, that's all."

Hmm. Thinking about her? She wondered what exactly. She scratched the back of her neck, and poked Marco slightly. "Well, I am quite mysterious, don't you think?" She pursed her lips, and batted her eyelashes, trying to look as mysterious as possible. Though, she probably only ended up looking silly.

“If you make one more move, missy…you’re going down!”

Atalia froze and her eyes went wide, and she grinned widely. Then after a moment of being still she reached out, and poked him again! She bursted into laughter and put her hands over her mouth to keep her from laughing too much. "Oh my goodness. We're silly..." She said, trying to calm down before laughing again.

"This bark...is really hard!..."

Atalia shook her head laughing softrly. "Correction... YOU are silly!"

Atalia looked up at the sky, and could see the clouds too. She was excited it was going to rain. She loved the rain. She looked up at Marco, and he was offering her his hand.

She smiled, and went to take it, but before she knew it, rain was falling on them, and he had pulled her to her feet and was kissing her! Right there on the lawn in the rain. She kissed him back, and put a hand on his cheek as he did so. It was so... romantic. Maybe he was alright afterall...

She allowed herself to become lost in Marco's arms, and his kiss. The ran fell on her face and she loved the feeling. Her black hair became wet, along with her clothes. She smiled into the kiss, and really believed she loved Marco. She just worried about him sometimes.. She broke the kiss, and looked at Marco for a moment, gazing into his pretty eyes. "I love you." She said.

"Oh God Atalia, I love you too,"

Atalia felt the pits of her stomach churn with giddyness. Those words sounded so lovely to her ears she couldn't help but laugh as his sweet face blushed and welcome Marco's second kiss.

The rest of the world seemed to melt away. It was just the two of them, under a tree, on the lawn, in the rain. It was so beautiful... Atalia didn't think she wanted such a moment to ever end.

She was sure every girl felt this way whenever they realized who they loved. But.. It wasn't loving that was the most satisfying. Loving was easy. It was being loved in return that was tricky. Though Atalia seemed to manage it alright.

She was so lost for words, and by now all she wanted was to be with Marco. He didn't have to say anything, she just wanted to be with him, and in his arms.

She loved the way her name sounded falling off her Marco's lips. The sound rang through her ears, and a large smile was brought to her own lips. She placed her hand on his cheek, and raised an eyebrow, listening.

"You don't love me though,"

Slightly taken aback by this statement, Atalia tilted her head slightly, and laughed with him for a moment before stopping, and giving him a playful stare. "Now what would make you say that? I think it was me who said that I loved you first." She said with a very matter-of-factly voice.

He pressed his forehead against hers, and she too gazed back into his eyes. Oh, how she loved his eyes. They were so full of compassion, and warmth that she couldn't help but giggle as they fell in a hyptnotic gaze with the other. She gave him another eskimo kiss before kissing him softly on the nose with her lips.

Was this really happening to her? Was she truly standing there, with a boy, kissing him, and falling in love? Or had she already fallen so hard she hadn't realized it yet? Oh, she knew she was in love, but had yet to truly grasp the wonderful depth of it all.
