Tear leaned out of the window, a smile on her face, as a calm breeze blew over her face. Summer was a nice time, it was calm, and lovely. She sighed, closing her eyes. In one hand, she held her necklace, that was the bead one with the heart on it. Her eyes opened and she put the necklace back on.

Tear sat down on the floor, legs crossed. She leaned against the wall, the window just over her head. She pulled a bag over to her, pulling out a book, a small book, called Austenland, by Shannon Hale. It was a thin book, but Tear enjoyed it.

She opened it like in the middle, and started reading.

Akira walked the stairs of the tower quietly, about half way up, he wondered what the heck he was doing and flapped his wings slightly, as silent as before, but with his feet elevated off the floor and helped him move much quicker. He continued up and opened the door with a small creak and saw that there was someone in there, he was about to turn around and leave when he realized he recognized that someone. It was Tear, with a grin on his face he came up behind her, feet still elevated off the ground silently he landed back down on the ground, still silent. He leaned down to see what she was reading and smiled.
Ah, so you prefer the dapper Mr. Darcy type, now you see if I were a woman I think I would like the silent but strong Colonel Brandon type. he said and grinned at her.

She jumped slightly. She was into her book, and didn't want to be interrupted, but when she turned around to snap at him, she noticed it was Akira. No wonder the voice was familiar. She smiled.

"I suppose, I can like that type." She said, smirking. "Nice to see you again, Akira." Tear said.

Akira smiled back at her, walking around her and plopping down on the stone windowsill facing her stretching his wings out the window frame that was just barely big enough to allow him the freedom of the wind rushing through his feathers.
Good to see you too! What have you been up to lately?
he asked genuinely curious

Tear shrugged. "Not much, reading, and more reading, annoying my twin, and cousins, hiding from my annoying big brother, and, not really anything." She said laughing, and smiling again. She remember last time she spoke with Akira, she had a breakdown then, but now she controlled that a bit more, and was bit calmer when she spoke of family problems, but she wasn't about to bring those up.

"How 'bout you? Anything new and fun?" She asked.

Akira twitched his wings a little in the cool breeze that blew through his wings, with a sigh he leaned back even farther to let the wind run through his shaggy purple hair. He shook his head a little bit before brining it back into the stone building.
Nope, not much. Just you know, flying. he said with a grin, his wings itching to feel the air brush through them again, to feel no limitations, to be high above everyone else, that was what he wanted that pure joy the feeling that the world would acquiesce to every one of his hopes and dreams and make them come true.

Tear smiled. She would love to fly, she thought it would be wonderful, but no, she was gifted with the power of telepath, weak though, but it could be handy, and since there was Kane, who was going to help her with it, then it could get stronger, and much better. She couldn't wait to have a lesson with him.

"Flying would be fun to have as a power, your free to go basically where you will." She said, standing up, and looking at him.
