Brielle dangled her legs in the air. She was sitting on a branch in a tree, for two reasons. She was bored. Utterly bored. She'd finished unpacking already, and she didn't really want to stay inside. She'd have to remember to look around later, especially the third flloor.
The second reason was that there was less chance of being notticed in a tree, than down on the ground. She brushed a piece of bark off of her black shirt and continued dangling her legs.
So far, no one had seen her, or seemed to see her at least. And if they did, they didn't talk to her. Suddenly her sandal flew off of her foot.
To go down and get it, or to not go down and get it, that was the question. If she didn't, it might get blow away, or someone might pick it up for some reason. But if she did go down and get it, some one might speak to her. There were so very friendly people at this school, as she had already noticed.
