"Well, there are Indians with non-Indian names. So why not? And second you refuse to tell me your name so I'm only trying to guess. It's not your business if I'm stupid or not."

"Why should I tell you? Maybe you don't deserve to know a name as wonderful as mine," she sarcastically remarked. "Besides, do I look like my name would be Susie, or Betty, or any other ridiculous non-Indian name. " She asked, raised one eyebrow and once more crossing her arms.

Sohalia grinned, brown eyes so taunting as she held back her laughter. "I'm so sorry, I just have a habit of stating the obvious, but since it's none of my business how stupid you are..." she trailed off, smirking.

"No actually it was more like I was practicing and hypnotized myself, and anyway it's not like there's a caring bone in your body probably. Of course that's probably more like a compliment to you."

"What a moron! Hypnotizing yourself," she actually laughed out loud, it was a bitter sound, one could tell she was being rude just by how she was laughing, "and yes, it's a compliment, I do pride myself on not caring, what's the point?" she waved away the thought, why should she care, anyways?

"Why should I tell you? Maybe you don't deserve to know a name as wonderful as mine. Besides, do I look like my name would be Susie, or Betty, or any other ridiculous non-Indian name. "

He chuckled, no she looked to him like one girl with a temper. But she also had spirit he went over a list of names in his head trying to figure what her's would be.

"I'm so sorry, I just have a habit of stating the obvious, but since it's none of my business how stupid you are..."

He caught a glimpse of her eyes, they looked so beautiful regardless of the mean things she said and did. He couldn't help but like her eyes, they looked so beautiful regardless of their owner. He wondered if her soul was nearly as beautiful as her eyes. He stopped thinking about it when he heard her comment.

"What a moron! Hypnotizing yourself, and yes, it's a compliment, I do pride myself on not caring, what's the point?"

He stopped thinking about her eyes, and looked at her. "You know you have beautiful eyes, but sadly their owner has a cold heart. The closest name I could possibly think of is Tuhina, except it more of a compliment. It fits you too, cold as ice yet beautiful regardless of your cruel cold heart." He chuckled lightly, "Oh well, whether or not I'm a idiot I said I'd annoy you all day and I will."

Sohalia turned away from Mez, wanting to leave. She took a few steps forward, towards whereever she was going, at this point she just wanted to be away ...from anyone. She was about to just go running, until she heard him chuckle. Tossing her head quickly back to glance at him, he looked so very deep in thought about what her name might be. Name was just a word, why worry about it? She waited for him to say something, and stood there for almost ten minutes in the akward silence, who in the world needs this much time to think!

"You know you have beautiful eyes, but sadly their owner has a cold heart."

This was definately the least possible thing Sohalia had expected him to say. In the least, she was dumbfounded, but her facial expression was the same angered one she wore all the time. She started to think of a reply, and still had no idea how to reply, yet the words just seemed to flow. "Excuse you!" her voice was back to yelling level. "You've known me for what? Ten minutes! And yet you think you have to right to tell me I have a cold heart? Even if I do what makes you think it's any of your business!"

"The closest name I could possibly think of is Tuhina, except it more of a compliment. It fits you too, cold as ice yet beautiful regardless of your cruel cold heart."

Tuhina? She wanted to yell at him for even suggesting such a ridiculous name. Couldn't he let this go? And he still wouldn't shutup. But his last statement, she froze. How exactly was she supposed to respond to that? And here he was laughing about it. "Sohalia!" she shouted finally. "It's Sohalia, now drop it okay, I don't care what you talk about, but just drop it!"

"Oh well, whether or not I'm a idiot I said I'd annoy you all day and I will."

She knew he was annoying, but gosh, this kid just wouldn't stop! Talking about annoying her all day. She'd been annoyed enough for the rest of her life in that past two seconds.

"Excuse you! You've known me for what? Ten minutes! And yet you think you have to right to tell me I have a cold heart? Even if I do what makes you think it's any of your business!"
"Well you said I was stupid in what eight minutes so at least I waited two minutes longer to tell you what I deduced from that ten minutes. And I'll tell you what, even if I was nice you'd still hate me anyway or laugh at me. You said you pride yourself on not caring yet you care that I called you cold hearted." Mez said his more serious side coming out, he tended to be serious when it came to other people's matters. He figured she had something that made her this way in her life.

"Sohalia! It's Sohalia, now drop it okay, I don't care what you talk about, but just drop it!"

"It's a pretty name, moon glow I believe it means... Quite fitting even though your spirit is sharp and cold. Your eyes do have that kind of glow." He said his eyes looking at her's again. "Yep, definately." He smiled lightly, so he had found out her name. The reason he knew the meaning of the name was because he had a unique love for languages and online searching so he often came across names that seemed beautiful and often remembered them in thought of if he ever had a chance to name something.

He was quite a odd guy, he often came off as a unserious boy. But his powers only made him more strange, he easily could've hypnotized her if she looked in his eyes long enough or the ring. But he wasn't cruel, he knew she had a right to be snappy and mean because of the few things he did. But after all he had a bad past and no one could deny the fact that besides being a bit rude at time he grew up rather well by himself.

"Well you said I was stupid in what eight minutes so at least I waited two minutes longer to tell you what I deduced from that ten minutes. "

"My point exactly! I waited eight minutes, and you could barely wait two!" Sohalia hissed. She looked around the lawn, even though the rain had stopped, it still seemed deserted. Obviously, noone just felt like being outside. She looked towards the Academy, not looking away as Mez went on.

And I'll tell you what, even if I was nice you'd still hate me anyway or laugh at me.

She shook her head, "Even if you were nice, you'd still be annoying! So ofcourse I'd hate you, give me one reason not to! In the past 10 minutes, you've called me cold hearted, and told me how much you were going to annoy me, and said how much I deserve it, how'd you expect me to react? Honestly..."
"You said you pride yourself on not caring yet you care that I called you cold hearted."

She wondered if there was a point to this conversation, just arguing back and forth, but dropped the thought, "I don't care about anyone or thing but myself, and what I am called, does, believe it or not, go under the category of ME." she argued.

"It's a pretty name, moon glow I believe it means..."

"I didn't know that, and you wont' be surprised to know that, get this, I. Don't. Care." Sohalia replied, her tone more rude now than ever. boredly examined her nails, waiting for him to keep talking, as she figured he planned on doing.

Quite fitting even though your spirit is sharp and cold. Your eyes do have that kind of glow." He said his eyes looking at her's again. "Yep, definately."

"Yep, beautiful, glowing, cold, I'm pretty sure we've established that...anything else you'd like to add?" she nodded, shrugging effortlessly.

"Yeah, I'm not going to annoy you anymore. It's been nice, thanks for the talk I really enjoyed it. By the way, you look cute when your angry." He said with a chuckle sure she would hit him over the head, truth be told all his life people were mad at him. He was used to it and found that being yelled at was the only thing that often helped his loneliness. He wasn't one to act normal and rather enjoyed being able to get people upset without anyone hurting him. It wasn't the fact he didn't get physically hurt, but it was more emotionally.

Seeing he never had friends he learned to deal more on a loner/joker basis. He was a odd one he could be in the middle of a heated arguement then walk off without even so much as a sigh or tear. That was the way he was, he took name calling and other things as a tiny scratch but always it was someone he was used to. He turned and started to walk away, he didn't even seem to mind. He said he'd annoy her all day and he knew he would, in her mind. He started to chuckle thinking about how much this would probably annoy her since it seemed she wanted to come out on top.

"You win..." He said chuckling as he walked away. None of the conversation had effected him, he may have looked weak and stupid but truly in some matters he had an air of strength. He figured the girl wouldn't have gotten so worked up about herself if she didn't have so much pride in herself. He didn't have pride in himself, he knew he was stupid, dumb, irresponsible, and a bunch of other things. But he learned from experience that never giving up and knowing when to stop and go were something he prized his treasure was in his soul something that would come out with a twinkle of his eyes and a smile in his heart.
