Bored...

Dark clouds hung in the sky, towering over the academy. You could tell with only a glance that it would rain, very soon, and it was a wonder it wasn't yet. Cool winds blew through the lawn, though not many were there to feel it. Strange, how nobody seemed to be outside today. Maybe it was the temperature, maybe noone wanted to be stuck in the rain, but whatever it was, that lawn looked perfectly deserted, except for one lone figure.

Sohalia sat, surrounded only by the grass and plants, seemingly alone. She was unusually content, though the frown on her face could've fooled anyone. There were so few places you could go where you could be completely alone, and noone else would bother you. Wherever she went someone seemed to be there...

But as much as she was enjoying her silence, she couldn't help but feel the least bit ...bored. Sohalia sighed, raking a hand through her hair, when a voice interrupted her silence. She froze, who would be out in the freezing rain, besides her, ofcourse...She couldn't help but glare at the ground before her in annoyance, bored as she might've been, someone interrupting her peace didn't please her. Looking around for the person who'd spoken, she couldn't see them through the now pouring rain, "Who's there?" she demanded.

Mez Morize was out in the rain walking this time he had the rainwater to keep him from getting hypnotized himself. He was such a clutz at his power, he sighed. He seemed more like a outcast at Starlight Academy. Lets see maybe if I look away from the ring or something maybe I'll master it. "Now, One! Two! Mez Morize!" He sighed, nothing happened he soon found himself near a tree with a girl sitting by it. She seemed alone, then his mind snapped to attention. "Who's there?"

Mez sighed, she didn't sound the friendliest. "Um... Sorry I didn't know I was disturbing someone..." He said with a sigh. He wasn't everyone's cup of tea, most of the time they got annoyed by his power or his obsession with the hamster dance. He seemed to not find a place where he fit in without people getting annoyed.

He started to walk away when suddenly a bird hopped down from the tree doing the hamster dance. A light smirk spread over Mez' face, "It worked..."

"Um... Sorry I didn't know I was disturbing someone..."

Sohalia finally spotted the person, a boy. She couldn't see very well through the rain - she repeatedly wiped it out of her eyes - but she could tell he seemed to be trying to ... she couldn't quite tell exactly what it was, but he was trying to do something anyways. Maybe he was using his power or whatever. "I have a name you know, I'm not just someone," she collected indignantly, "Plus, I'm sure there's tons of things you don't know, but does it look like I really want to hear them, I have neither the time nor the patience,"

"It worked..."

"So you made a bird dance, big deal," she waved off the accomplishment that he seemed awful proud of. Snapping her fingers, a second bird seemed to come from the tree, mimicking the motions of the first bird for a only a second, before vanishing into thin air, "Not hard, we not for me anyways." Sohalia grinned, her arrogance only too obvious.

"I'm sorry but you didn't give a name and I'm Mez, so there you know mine." He heard her comment and sat down next to her. "Good, because at least I can annoy someone who needs true annoyance." He crossed his arms annoyed. The bird continued dancing still hypnotized, it danced the hamster dance looking absolutely funny. It seemed to be enjoying itself so he decided to let it stay hypnotized for a little longer.

"You don't even know what I was trying to do so why say a bunch of rude things? Unless you truly want me to annoy you the rest of the day." He noticed the bird growing tired and flashed the ring before it's eyes and the bird fell out of the trance. The bird flew off, he looked at the girl. "So what are you doing? How long you been here? Do you have a boyfriend? How come your so mean?" He said being as annoying as possible.

"Im sorry but you didn't give a name and I'm Mez, so there you know mine."

"I meant to not give a name, thank you very much," she snapped, "and what kind of name is Mez anyways? That's the stupidest name I have ever heard." She really didn't give a thought to the fact that her name wasn't exactly common either...

"Good, because at least I can annoy someone who needs true annoyance."

"I'm sorry, but I don't need a true annoyance, I need for you to leave me alone," she nearly yelled, getting more irritatedby the moment with this boy. She was resisting the urge to grab the nearest rock and throw it at his head.. he just couldn't shut up!

"You don't even know what I was trying to do so why say a bunch of rude things?

"Pointlessly hypnotizing innocent bird, oh yeah, I'm real clueless," Sohalia spat sarcastically. At that moment, she could've sworn she'd heard something behind her, was someone else here too? She spun around, and looked closely, but upon seeing nothing she glanced back at the boy...Mez or whatever his name was, who was talking about annoying her for the day or some jazz.

"So what are you doing? How long you been here? Do you have a boyfriend? How come your so mean?"

Sohalia sneered, "Just shut up! What makes you think I would tell you anything! Get out of my business." Wasn't there anything to make him go. She shook her head, sending water everything, "Go inside like everyone else.."

"I meant to not give a name, thank you very much, and what kind of name is Mez anyways? That's the stupidest name I have ever heard."

"Well at least I have a name, and it's a fitting name at least I'm not Bob." He said leaning back against the tree putting his arms behind his head in a laxed position.

"I'm sorry, but I don't need a true annoyance, I need for you to leave me alone,"

He chuckled, "Hot spirited ey? I guess your name must be something like flame or flamable." He said picturing her turning to flames, yeah she fit that picture in his mind from what he knew of her.

"Pointlessly hypnotizing innocent bird, oh yeah, I'm real clueless,"

"It wasn't pointless, and he enjoyed it. I'm not cruel, odd maybe, but never cruel especially to animals of a higher race. Humans after all are on the bottom of the foodchain." He said with a chuckle... "I bet that bird probably doesn't even like you. I'm talking about a real bird with it's own mind and soul tho, not a fake."

"Just shut up! What makes you think I would tell you anything! Get out of my business. Go inside like everyone else.."

"Um let me put this lightly and simple... No." He leaned back still in a laxed lazy manner not caring less if she wanted him there or not. He decided to annoy her for the day so he would. He wasn't going to let her off easy and leave her to be alone in peace all day. No no no, he was definately sticking around.

"Well at least I have a name, and it's a fitting name at least I'm not Bob."

"I do have a name and it fits me perfectly fine," she retorted, giving a small 'Hmmph,' and turning away. The rain seemed to be getting lighter, but Mez didn't seem to be getting any less ~

"Hot spirited ey? I guess your name must be something like flame or flamable."

Annoying. She stood up, her feet splashing in the mud, "What kind of name is that anyways?!" she yelled at him, her voice demanding. "It's not even Indian," she went on, but her face held a look that clearly stated 'whatever', showing she was resigned.

"Oh no, it isn't cruel in the least to make birds dance when they don't want too, I'm sure if the bird enjoyed dancing he might've dance by himself!" she sighed. Nearly everyone annoyed her, but Mez could obviously annoy just about anyone who came his way. She didn't respond to his comment about the bird being fake, 'He's going to have a -real- rock in his head in a moment if he doesn't shutup,' she thought in her head.

"Um let me put this lightly and simple... No."

"I don't think you understand, that wasn't a question, there isn't an option, you don't have a choice, you go or I go, I don't care which, but either way, this conversation is over. " she retorted, slipping her hands in her pockets and turning to walk off.

"I do have a name and it fits me perfectly fine,"

Mez sighed it was obivious she wasn't going to give her name, he had tried to trick her into giving it by anger, but it didn't work.

"What kind of name is that anyways?! It's not even Indian,"

"Yeah well does it even matter? I mean your not the nicest greeting person in the world ya know. Even if your hot headed and unreasonable."

"Oh no, it isn't cruel in the least to make birds dance when they don't want too, I'm sure if the bird enjoyed dancing he might've dance by himself!"

"He didn't dance that long and at least I made him happier than your grouchy attitude sitting under a tree. Besides at least this time I didn't...." He stopped himself knowing if he let that slipp out he'd never hear the end of it. She'd probably call him a idiot for in the past accidently self hypnotizing himself to do the things he hypnotized others to do.

"I don't think you understand, that wasn't a question, there isn't an option, you don't have a choice, you go or I go, I don't care which, but either way, this conversation is over. "

He got up next to her ready to follow her if she walked, he wasn't going back on his word. His word was final, he was sick of spending all his time alone and this would be a bad way of getting company but it was better than sitting alone wishing he had someone to do things with and laugh with.

"Then don't talk to me, it's really easy. All you have to do is - get this it's a new thing - shut your mouth and don't open it. And what does that do with my name? I'm Indian, so I'd have an Indian name, it's really that simple, even for someone as completely stupid as you are." she shot back at him, not even thinking about what she was saying before she opened her mouth to say it. Maybe that was where the whole unreasonable part came in.

"He didn't dance that long and at least I made him happier than your grouchy attitude sitting under a tree. Besides at least this time I didn't...."

"Oh just say it, we both know what an idiot you are," she told him, her voice cold and still louder than normal. "What'd ya do, hypnotize yourself to be more annoying?" she sarcastically asked. Her obviously planned to follow her as she left.

He looked at her noticing she was Indian now, he kinda was slow in some matters. "Well, there are Indians with non-Indian names. So why not? And second you refuse to tell me your name so I'm only trying to guess. It's not your business if I'm stupid or not." He said with a sigh, he didn't sound smart the way he said it, it was a groundless statement.

"Oh just say it, we both know what an idiot you are, What'd ya do, hypnotize yourself to be more annoying?"

"No actually it was more like I was practicing and hypnotized myself, and anyway it's not like there's a caring bone in your body probably. Of course that's probably more like a compliment to you." He said his eyes narrowing with anger, he looked away from her then looked back. He knew she wasn't going to stop with the fighting she wasn't exactly the nicest and she wasn't going to sit down and talk so he decided since he couldn't change the reason or conditions under which they spoke he may as well speak anyway.
