Max Archer walked into the lounge and plopped down on the couch. It was mostly empty. A few people watching a movie, some kids doing homework. She silently watched people. This took a lot of effort since she loved to talk. She sighed. People had always welcomed the newbies at her old school.

Akira wandered into the lounge, having not yet any friends, a tad nervously. He looked around and saw the average kids doing homework some watching a movie and then he saw someone else all by themselves. He walked over to her and smiled.
"Hi." he said "I'm new names Akira Mamoru you are...?" he said holding out his hand for her to shake if she chose to.

She reached out and shook his hand. "I'm Max. Well actually Maxine but I hate that name. Not that you care about my name. I'm Josie's little sister. Dunno if you have met her. And you are?"
Akira continued smiling.
"No I've never met your sister and I believe I already introduced myself though if my name is that easy to forget I shall tell you again. I'm Akira Mamoru." he said and took his hand back.
"Are you new here also?" he asked slipping his hands into the pocket of his black jeans.

Max smiled guiltily. "Yes, you did didnt you. I forget names easily. Sorry. Yes, I just got here today. Its so weird here. Like, really weird. I don't even have a room yet. Oh my gosh! I can't sleep outside! Aunt Lucy and Uncle Frank would never allow it! They'd bring me back to France the next first class plane." She noticed that Akira was staring at her weird. "Sorry. I talk alot."
Akira smiled
"All is well I have a name that is all too easy to forget." he said
"So you've only been here a day but how do you like it?" he asked truly intrigued and he sat down on a recliner across from her.
"Well we wouldnt want to sent back to France now would we? You'll just simply have to ask if anyone is in need of a roommate." he said smiling charmingly though he had no idea how he could help her with that. Boys are NOT allowed in the girls dorm and vice versa so its not like he could go and help her look around.

"Well, I used to be totally boy-crazy so me and my best friend made a deal. We've sworn off boys for good. I know it sounds crazy, but its easier that way. I used to have like boyfriends and crushes all the time. Now, at a new school, with new boys...." Max said. Then she remembered she was talking to a boy. "Sorry."
Akira smiled
"It is a good resolution though it will be difficult to keep." he said with a smile
"How old are that you have been having boyfriends? You dont look any older than thirteen." he said rather shocked that she be so young and already having many boyfriends.He being only 17 had just started dating two years before.
