Taking her hand, he laced his fingers with hers, "to be honest....for a while, I didn't think I'd ever find someone willing to put up with me." He had problems that so few actually knew about, and hated the idea of others having to deal with it.

He looked at her, this girl who he was mysteriously drawn to, "there's something about you...something.....special, so you think you could put up with me?" He kissed her, "go out with me?" In that moment, his logic of not burdening others faded, left with the mysterious desire to be with her.

Elizabeth looked at him, sounded like he had his share of issues too. "I think i can put up with you just fine, the question is whether you can put up with me and..." Elizabeth stopped herself before she could say 'powers'. He didn't have to know about her lack of emotion. He wouldn't be able to tell if she chose to continue with her power and if she chose to stop it then there wouldn't be an problem, or so she thought. Soren shouldn't have to worry about it. Smiling at him, she leant forwards and kissed him again. "Is that a good enough answer?"

He kissed her back, it was a strange answer, and he felt there was something she wasn't telling him, but he let it go for now.

He drew her close, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her again. He didn't know what was going to happen after, the things they'd go through, the pain, the emotions, he had no idea. What he did know was that he was drawn to this girl, and that he was happy to be with her.
