Marcus Warke
Marcus, always one for reading, was updating his collection of books to read, as well as what books he kept in his "hotlist", otherwise known as the books he always kept at hand in case of emergencies.

Due to a previous situation, where he accidentally got a book wet, he wasn't really allowed to borrow the rare, popular or new books. That made his decisions a little bit harder, as he had a less diverse selection of possible items he could summon.

That means that currently, he was at a table, surrounded by books, a spreadsheet in front of him. Marcus had compiled a reference list of the books he wanted to read and was comparing them with books that might hold useful items.

Hiatus
Scirheah pushed her glasses up on her nose as she navigated her way through the hallways, trying to find the library in this place. Scirheah was not very good at that, how the heck was she supposed to find anything in this place when she barely left her room in her own domain. Which in itself wasn't nearly as big as the academy and still Scirheah got lost in there.
Scirheah had only been in this dimension for a couple of days, and though Erione had told her the island had a lot of nice people Scirheah wasn't really trusting it. No one had said it to her face but in her head Scirheah was sure everyone thought she was weird, not even talking normally. Back home she got teased because of that all the time. Why would this place be any different?

Scirheah frowned a bit at her thoughts, and started walking stomping her feet a bit and looking strictly forward, her expression grumpy. Thus she almost missed the library sign that hung next to a pair of big pair doors. Scirheah brought herself to a sudden stop and spun around, already smiling again. That wasn't so hard after all! Scirheah skipped to the doors and opened them wide, regretting it a second after. Her grand entrance attracted attention and anyone close to the door turned to look at Scirheah curiously. She blinked and blushed furiously, so embarrassed she wanted to teleport to Erione and never show her face here again. But for now Scirheah just covered her face with her notepad and ran in between the bookshelves.

Between the bookshelves Scirheah took deep breaths, waiting for her blush and emotional turmoil to tone down. She had come here to check out, what this dimension had to offer in terms of poems and possible fantasy books. Scirheah loved fantasy books. Thanks to her language charm Scirheah could read the different categories of books and started sailing along the rows, trailing them with her finger. The couple she pulled out were okay but none really clicked. Some she stuffed under her arms.

Scirheah, after peeking around both corners, stepped out from between the shelves and scanned the library for a free table. She saw one next to a table that was stacked with books. So stacked Scirheah couldn't see if there was actually anyone sitting on it. But she made her way towards the free table, and when she got to it she glanced at the stack nearest to her. On top of it Scirheah saw a cover thay remined her a lot of one of her favourite books back in Lum. Scirheah gasped a bit and picked the book up, excited smile on her face and she started absently flipping through the pages.

Marcus Warke
His face inches from the paper in front of him, Marcus tried to rank the neccessity of glowsticks, when he heard a gasp and some rustling next to him.

Leaning back so he was now sitting completely straight, he saw the girl reading nearby. She had a book in his hands he recognised as one of the ones he had grabbed earlier. Admittedly, Marcus should have put them away, but he found it easier to have the multitudes of books at hand, it also hid him from the disapproving Librarian so there was that too.

Having already read the book, Marcus knew all about it. It was a good read, actually. Out of all the books he had here, she picked that one, so she had good taste.

"Hello." He said calmly, trying to get the girls attention. He had no problem with her reading the books, thats what they were for, after all. He just wanted a second opinion on his working.

Hiatus
Scirheah was immersed in the book, it wasn't quite like the one in Lum but had similar elements and, if possible, an even better storyline. Scirheah smiled happily and didn't even see the figure that emerged from behind the book stacks. Only when he actually spoke did Scirheah react. She jumped and let out a small squeak, accidentally almost dropping the book. Scirheah played hot potatoe with it for a few seconds before she trapped it between her hands, like killing a mosquitoe. She slowly turned to look at the boy who had been basically lurking behind the stacks. And he had just seen Scirheah act like some doofus. She blushed and scrambled to put the book back, almost knocking down the entire stack. Then she pulled out her talky device and opened it, typing her words on it. It repeated them in a robotic female voice. Scirheah looked anywhere but at the boy when the words were repeated, still blushing a bit but also frowning. She looked a bit pouty.
"Hello. You scared the heck out of me, you shouldn't jump out like that. I'm sorry I took your book."

Marcus Warke
He was quiet through her juggling act, though he did want to laugh. Marcus did spook her though, so he couldn't, lest he add insult to injury.

"No, I'm sorry. I know what its like to be that engaged in a book. Especially in such a good read such as that one." Standing up, Marcus picked the book back and handed it to her. "Here. You should finish it at least. I'm Marcus, by the way." He said, introducing himself.
