The wind was softly blowing, causing her loose hairs to dance merrily around her head. She lifted her face towards the sun and allowed the warm rays of the sun to calmly brush her face. Slowly she lowered her head ever so slightly and looked at the sky. Not a single cloud. It was one of those days that looked almost too good to be true. Kole smiled softly and slowly kicked off her shoes. She bent down and placed them neatly neck to each other next to a tree before she continued her way down the lakeside. The sun warmed grass was filling the little spaces between her toes making her almost laugh in delight. There wasn’t much that could make this day better.

She unfolded a small blue blanket that had been resting in her arms. Being herself, she bent down and made sure it was perfectly aligned with the water and the sun. A peaceful grinned crossed her face as she plopped down on the blanket, covered in her oversized blue dress. She closed her eyes and just allowed her body to soak up the warmth. She opened her eyes only to realize that she had forgotten something back in her room. Kole allowed a soft groan to escape her mouth before she turned her attention to the crystal lake before her.

Coming upon the lake, one of her favorite places since she came to the island, Susan looked at the water and sighed wistfully. The sound of water creating waves soothed her, making her wish she were back on a pirate ship in the middle of the ocean. That was about the only thing she really wanted at that moment. That, and a good fish(she was hungry).

Spotting another person in the same area as her, Susan smiled at the thought of making a new friend and walked over. "Hello."

Kole was now starting to doze off in the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays, with her long blue dress as the closest thing to a blanket she had. It was then that she heard a voice, that of a young female, from nearby. She sat up from her laying position and looked up to see another girl. She grinned as a greeting in return. Above all things, she loved making friends, though she didn't have many here yet. She waved. "Hiii!!

Susan sat down beside the girl, tucking her dress around her ankles. "I'm Susan. And you are?" She asked kindly.

Kole watched the other girl as she sat and smiled when she introduced herself as Susan. Great! A potential new friend! Excited as always, she replied. "Hii Susan. I'm Kole. Nice to meet ya! Hehee!"

Susan smiled and nodded. She could see this was going to be one of her friends. Already, her teen mind wondered whether she should tell Kole she was from three hundred years ago. She decided not to for the moment. "How old are you?" She knew nothing of what normal teens talked about these days, since she had only gotten to SA not long ago. But she figured this was a normal enough question.

Kole could sense it already that this girl could be a great friend. That was just like her; always outgoing and talking to random people. "I'm sixteen. How about you?" she answered and inquired respectively.

Delighted at the age, Susan grinned. "The same." She scooped up some sand and let it fall between her fingers.

Kole beamed when she learned that the girl was the same age as her. Who knows. She could be lying. Oh well. Either way, it wouldn't matter to her. "So uhh, since you're here, at the school I mean, you must have a power, right? So, what's your power?" she then asked.

Susan looked out at the lake before turning the whole top of it thick ice. She smiled at the great sucess and looked at Kole. "What about you?"
