Private Finished Bloom Where You Are Planted

"Let's see... where is it?" Celeste mused to herself as she slowly moved down the aisle looking for a book on plants native to Manta Carlos and where they could be found. She had taken it out a few weeks ago, and needed it again to make sure that partridgeberries and Mayapples could be found on the island so she could do a recipe with them.

"What in heaven's name?" she stated, somewhat confused as the scent of fresh lavender wafted her way. "I think I smell flowers.." she said to nobody in particular as she followed the smell to a quieter part of the library where she saw a young girl seated at a table with an assortment of flowers surrounding her.

"The flowers are very beautiful," Celeste said as she drew nearer, now recognizing not only the lavender but the lovely and delicate peonies growing around the young girl.

"Are you new here?" she asked her with polite curiosity.

"Simply marvellous..." Celeste murmured with a smile as more flowers sprung up around the girl as she moved.

"Those are peonies, no?" she asked as she peered again at the flowers before looking up at the girl. "Can you make other flowers grow around you too?"

"Don't be sad. I think that's amazing actually," Celeste admitted with a friendly smile. The witch had never met anyone with that ability before today.

"Can I ask where you are from? And does the flower thing run in your family?"

"I see," Celeste nodded in understanding. It wasn't too unusual that younger students weren't aware of the state or province they were from.

"The flowers, can other people in your family do that too? Or just you?" she said, rephrasing her question a little bit.

"Well, that's okay too. There are lots of people here that have plant abilities like you do. I am sure you'll have no trouble making friends." she told her.

"When did you arrive? And is your family here with you too?"
