Name: Bianca Risotti
Age: 15
Birthday: July 4th
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Category: Student
Class: High School
Grade: 9th
Sexuality: Homosexual
Appearance Description: Perhaps the most comprehensive way to describe Bianca would be 'sickly'. Her skin is extremely pale, and she perpetually has dark circles under her eyes. Bianca is quite thin, not quite to the point where she looks malnourished, but her body mass is below what a girl of her height (5'4) should be. Her hair is a strange, slightly pinkish brunette, and hangs down to just under her shoulders. Her eyes are a dull rusty red, her left eye nearly always being covered up by her hair. As an odd hereditary trait, Bianca's teeth are all a bit pointed and sharper than most peoples'.
Dark eye makeup is the norm for Bianca, and she typically has her nails well manicured and painted with glossy black polish. Her wardrobe typically fluctuates between elegant gothic-style dresses and typical metalhead attire, the predominant color in each being black. She wears a small signet ring on her left index finger, the family crest design damaged beyond recognition. Lastly, a gorgeous pendant on a platinum chain hangs from her neck, a huge (four carat), brightly sparkling red diamond set into the middle.
Personality Description: In most instances, Bianca tends to come off as very cool and reserved, and she doesn't often approach anyone for conversation unless she takes particular interest in them. Quite shy in general, Bianca has a hard time talking to most people at first, and is very quiet and distant. All of this is superseded, however, if she finds somebody who shares one of her interests, she'll immediately brighten up, eager to talk to them for possibly hours on end about it. Some of her biggest talking points, bordering on obsession sometimes, are heavy metal music and anime. She also has a particular appreciation for kaiju, and enjoys cloud watching and other lazy activities. Bianca abhors physical exertion of most kinds, and typically does her best to get an exemption from gym classes. For someone as timid as her, it follows that she does her best to avoid conflict, tensing up and becoming quite defensive when it happens around her.
Powers: Blood Manipulation - Bianca has the innate ability to control and shape the blood of herself and others. She has absolute control over the flow of her own blood, even to the point of being able to isolate different components from one another (plasma, red blood cells, toxins, etc). She can freely move the blood of others as long as it is outside of the body, with the effective range depending on her ability to maintain focus on the target. The closer she is to her subject, the more ease she's able to control their blood with, and so naturally her ability works most powerfully on herself. Besides being able to move blood around, Bianca is also capable of controlling the viscosity, density, and shape of it, forming it into any shape she chooses with a maximum hardness comparable to steel.
Though indeed powerful, her ability has some drawbacks worth consideration. Firstly, the maximum volume she can manipulate at once is approximately ten gallons, assuming it is already out in the open. The more she is controlling at any one time, the more mental strain it puts on her and the easier it is to break her concentration. Even after brief usage of this ability, she is struck with severe fatigue and debilitating migraines, the severity of them is directly relative to how long she uses her ability and whether it is on herself or others. At worst, she has been known to faint on the spot, requiring several hours or even a day to recover. Breaking her focus causes her lose control over the blood she is manipulating, either partially or fully depending on how much she is disturbed. It is vastly easier for her to concentrate on and manipulate blood that she can see, and even though she does have complete control of her own, it is still much easier for her to shape it if it is already outside of her body. Additionally, as a permanent side effect of her ability, Bianca is anemic, suffering from frequent energy loss, shortness of breath, insomnia, and headaches. Her unconventional appearance is also owed to this condition. She has to take iron supplements three times a day to reduce her symptoms.
Biography: Bianca was born an only child to the extremely wealthy and well regarded Risotti family, historically influential in Italy in the medical field for many generations. Even before her power manifested at the age of ten, she was very sheltered, as she was naturally prone to illness and tended not to get along very well with other children. Her parents were both doctors, working themselves to the bone six or sometimes seven days out of the week. Her care was left in the hands of several hired babysitters, and as such she never got the opportunity to form much of an emotional bond with anybody for years.
At age ten, one of her nurses informed her parents that, bizarrely, all of the blood had flowed back into her knee after she had scraped it playing outside. Holding her under close observation in the following months, they were mortified as her power began to develop further, and in hushed tones they thought she couldn't hear, denounced her as a freak. She could hear them. She heard their hurtful whispers about her whenever they were actually around in the first place, her nurses and babysitters having quite similar reactions.
By the time Bianca was fifteen, she had been rebelling for a few years against the life of loneliness and mockery she had always known, turning to music to express her frustration. Her guitar cried out through the halls of her the oft empty mansion she was trapped in, calling for anyone to listen. She had begun sneaking out at night as well, hungry for contact with someone new. Over the course of eight months, she had secretly begun dating her neighbor, a similarly lonely girl named Rosa.
Things had been looking up for her, and she was finally beginning to feel a twinge of true happiness and respite. All would soon change, however, when the couple was caught together in the middle of a kiss by Rosa's mother. That night, both of their parents met together in Bianca's home, all of them absolutely furious. Rosa was sent to live with her grandparents, and that would be the end of it. Bianca, however, was labelled as a disgrace by her outraged family, and formally disowned on the spot. Given two short hours to collect all of her things, Bianca crept down to the family vault, and from the portion that was decided to be transferred to her when she left for university, stashed away just over two million euro in large notes as well as a large assortment of jewelry that she has yet to have appraised. Cast out from her home, she lived a short few days wandering the streets of Venice, unable to stay at a hotel as it would rouse her family's suspicion to her whereabouts, before she was abruptly recovered by a team of Manta Carlos scouts. With nowhere else to turn, she reluctantly went with them, being promised that her destination was a safe one, free of the scorn and neglect she had always felt.
Additional Information: Leave my blood girl alone, she's a very good cutie. Bad parents are bad.
