Beginning of the End [open]

Sebastian had a break in his classes for the day so he decided to go for a run, his normal route led him into the woods and towards the Lake. He normally ran around with no shirt on but today he simply decided to wear his favorite green T-Shirt with the picture of a wolf on the front, it was his favorite because it reminded him of his Mother and the fact maybe in someway she was watching him through the eyes of the wolf. As he ran he caught the sense of something, there was a faint scent of blood in the air as if something was... hurt. He quickly changed his route and headed towards the scent, could it be that someone was hurt out here or maybe it was just an animal that someone practiced hunting and didn't bother finishing off. Either way, they were both good reasons for him to find the source of the scent.

As he ran the scent began to get stronger and stronger, it got so strong he decided he needed to get there fast so he began to run on all fours, ripping up the ground as he ran, his long finger nails digging into the fallen leaves. Once he made it to a clearing he looked out from behind a tree to see a bird laying on it's back. Sniffing the air he could tell that the scent of blood was coming from it, him a bird alone in the woods. He began to slowly prowl over to the bird, still on all fours he began to sniff the air he had never smelt such a bird before, suddenly he had the urge to look up to see fire falling from the sky and her wings began to burn a white fire. His eyes glowed a bright yellow, he suddenly felt like this thing was dangerous. Circling the bird he made his way in front of its legs, he lot out a small growl as a type of intimidation, "What are you? Grrr." His wolf senses were taking over a bit in this strange scene, he couldn't pin point what kind of bird it was but he could tell it was dangerous either way. Hating fire as much as Sebastian did, it was hard for him to act calmly in this position.

He couldn't take any chances, if this thing was dangerous he was going to have to be ready to exterminate it as soon as it attacks. But he couldn't be too hasty in case it was someone like him, someone with no where else to go and a student at this academy. Sebastian had trouble trusting anything his whole life and even though this academy was supposedly safe he still couldn't change, he knew what could happen if you put too much trust into someone.

Rosetta was just out for a jog that day; she wanted to keep up the exercise so she can stay fit in case of battle when she confronts her parent's murderer.

She didn't expect to see what she saw. Some bird on the ground hurt, and then some wolf next to it. Wait...

A wolf?

Oh no!

Rosetta bolted towards the bird and the wolf, clearly pissed and concerned for the bird.

"Get the hell away from it!"

When she got closer, she saw that it actually looked like...

Sebastian?

Sebastian watched as the bird moved with so much pain in its movements, it finally grabbed the bag that fell from the sky. Sebastian growled one more time at it as he didn't know what it could be doing, it didn't seem like it could do anything else once it go the bag, it seemed almost... Dying.

He began to prowl closer to it before suddenly a voice came from the forest behind them immediately Sebastian realized who it was and began to move back away from the bird. His features still in their human wolf form but still he was calming down slowly.

He quickly turned around, his back towards Rosetta as he put his hands up to his head and cried out as he changed back. "Gaaaah." Once he changed back he got onto his legs and stood up straight, his hand still on his face holding his nose. He then pointed at the bird, "It's bleeding... And... Its wing is broken." He looked up at the sky where he saw the fire before, it was gone.

What is this thing and why did it fall from the sky, he looked back at Rosetta his facial expression was the same as always. Cool and calm but he still had to hold his hand up to his nose, the scent of his hand helped him to block the scent of blood coming from the bird.

Did Rosetta see what he was? If she did it wasn't going to take long before more people found it, he was just going to have to talk to her about it later. Right now they had to find out what this bird was doing here and who it was.

"Poor thing..." Rosetta got on her knees. "Here," Rosetta made her hands into what one would do as if to pray in front of the white rose on her chest.

"O', lady of healing, Medea, nurture this soul with the great power you once spread across the land." A bright light ignited from the white rose, and she said her final word, "Cayenne."

As soon as she said that, a herb appeared before her from the light. It was already prepared to use for treatment, so Rosetta gently applied it to the bird's wounds. "That should help the bleeding, and should prevent scars." Rosetta got up from the ground, "Come on, we need to go seek help with her wings. Also, we'd need some bandages. Pick her up gently, will you?"

Sebastian studied the bird, he truly didn't know what it was which caused him to watch it carefully, ignoring what Rosetta was doing he was watching how the bird moved. It seemed to keep looking at him, as Rosetta stopped the bleeding on the bird Sebastian moved his hand from his nose and began to breath in the birds scent. There was something weird about it, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

"She smells... Different, not like a normal bird." Sebastian looked at Rosetta as he knelt down and put his hands under the bird, just a few minutes ago he was on the verge of attacking the animal but now he was going to attempt to help it. Something about this did not seem right to him, how did this bird fall from the sky and what was the fire from? He knew that there were strange beings at this school but he didn't know the animals were strange too.

Since he was close to the bird he began to smell it, trying to get a scent of something familiar. Without warning he caught a scent, the scent was coming from the backpack that fell down next to the bird he quickly walked over and opened up the bag. Maybe there was something in here that could give him some more answers.

Without any care for personal belongings he began to rummage through the bag.

Whilst he was about to look through the bag, a white flash appeared in front of him and before he knew it the bag was gone and the bird was standing up holding it's bag. A small smile appeared on his face as he watched the bird, "Seems your spell worked Rose." He didn't mean to give her a nickname but it just slipped out, he didn't want to look weird so he didn't correct himself as he watched the bird start writing in the ground with it's talon.

"So that's it." He said looking up at the bird, "You are a... a Girl??" He began to get quizzical as he thought as to what the bird was in their humanoid form he also didn't know whether she was a human or something strange like a lot of the other students here.

"Well I can't help you, I know how to transform back from my minor form." He then shows her buy closing his eyes and letting out a small breath, when he opened his eyes they glowed a gold and hair grew all over his body but he still kept his human form. His teeth grew sharper and his nails grew out 2 inches on each finger.

After a few seconds he closed his eyes again and took another deeper breath. This time when he opened his eyes they were his normal blue eyes and all the hair reverted back to normal and same with his teeth and nails. "But I could never control my full werewolf form, even after years of training with my father I just had to wait until the full moon to end and then I would revert back." Turning back to Rose he gave her a stare. She wasn't one of them, she wouldn't have a clue what to do... "The only other thing I can think of would be... Pain." Looking back a the bird he raised his hand, showing the claws on his right hand hadn't reverted back, the tips were as sharp as any knife. He didn't strike yet, he just waited for the bird and Rosetta's reaction.
