Asteria is a bit short for her age and she is 135cm; 4.4ft tall. She looks and is frail and petite. But she unexpectedly has some muscle as well.
Asteria has a little big head and round, soft-looking features. She is quite cute and is almost always smiling. Asteria has a small button nose, narrow mouth and little red smooth cheeks. Her eyes are big and round and bright green. They turn red when Asteria feels bloodlust.

Asteria's hair is light golden brown and she keeps it short. Asteria has straight bangs and her hair reaches just over her ears and neck. Asteria has longer strands of hair on both sides her face and on top of her head.

Blood Magic: Asteria has some strong blood magic abilities, but they are still unrefined due to her age. At the moment Asteria doesn't know how to use her magic powers aside from the order she can give her servant Buddy. Her powers are used through runes and incantations.
Long Lifespan: Asteria will live up to 700-800 years.
Dhampir Physiology:
-Strength: Asteria can lift twice her own weight and run 25mph.
-Slowed Aging: When Asteria turns 18 her aging and growth will get significantly slower. It will take her about 7-8 years to age a year.
-Bloodlust: Asteria feels bloodlust when physically and mentally fatigued and digesting blood gives her energy. She doesn't need to feed on blood to stay alive but it gives her energy and enhances her magic powers and physical abilities.
-Self-Sustenance: Asteria doesn't need to eat, drink or sleep as much as a normal human and can stay alive for a month if she digests blood regurarly.
-Enhanced senses: Asteria's senses are heightened compared to human's. Her sense of smell is as good as dog's, she can see twice as well as a normal human and she can see in the dark and her hearing is about three times as good as human's.
Healing Blood: Asteria's blood has minor healing abilities. When digested it can help with headache, stomach pain or sore throat, and when applied on small wounds it escalates the healing process. Asteria's blood doesn't have an effect on dhampirs, vampires or herself.
Blood Contract: Asteria is bound to her servant Buddy through a blood contract, that was forged through a ritual. Along with this contract come few abilities.
-Telepathic Link: Asteria can talk to Buddy telepathically. The range of this ability is around 4 to 5 miles, depending on the mental state of either Asteria or Buddy.
-Tracking: Asteria knows at all times where Buddy is and he knows where she is, no matter the distance.
-Body Link: Asteria's and her servant's bodies are linked and all Asteria's wounds that would threaten to kill her and mortal wounds transfer to Buddy. This body link only works on physical injuries but not sickness or magical ailments.
-Special Order: Asteria can give her servant Buddy a special order he cannot disobey no matter what. To give this order Asteria has to mix both of their blood together, draw the rune of command to Buddy's forehead, chant an incantation and then say the order.

Silver & Holy Items: Being close to silver and holy items gives Asteria discomfort and they cause rash upon touch. Prolonged contact gives Asteria mild and eventually severe burns. Asteria can enter holy ground but being there tires her and can make her faint.

Asteria was born to a powerful witch and a vampire. Her servant Buddy used to be Asteria's mother's Elena's servant and Elena's father's before that.
Asteria's parents were killed when she was really small by the vampire coven Elena and Buddy were running from. The coven had been chasing her and Buddy for many years and were able to find them when Elena got married and had a child. Before Elena died she transferred Buddy's contract to Asteria.
Asteria doesn't remember her parents and only has memories of her life with Buddy on the run. Though Asteria had no idea they were on the run, and just thought they moved often because of Buddy's work. Buddy told her as soon as she was old enough to understand that Asteria was not his biological daughter and that her parents had been Buddy's good friends and wonderful people. Not wanting to scare the girl Buddy didn't tell her about the coven or how Asteria's parents had really died. Buddy also told Asteria what she was, and what he was. She was forbidden from ever using her powers in front of people and since Asteria was a good girl she did as Buddy told.
But one day Asteria was playing with her friends during recess and one of them fell down, injuring themselves. Asteria, worried about how much the injury was bleeding, made herself a wound and applied her blood on the injury. The injury healed before their eyes, and this was seen by teachers and many students.
The academy's scouts heard of this incident and found Asteria and Buddy few weeks later. They were brought to Manta Carlos and have lived there for few months now. Buddy works as a police officer and Asteria goes to school.
