Asking a Goddess to Dinner

Her dorm was still a little spars but she had some essentials. It was beginning to look more like home every day for Tesa. All she needed was a bit more of a Greek touch to it and it would all come together. So the goddess was sitting at a table in her dorm room with a bottle of Olympian's Finest, Olympia Fields BC 250. As if it had come from Dionysus's own vineyards. She didn't own any wineglasses though so it was straight from the bottle.

Though, she did hear a knock on her door. Standing she dusted off the front of her loose thin house gown. A woman's toga essentially, it was a bit more form fitting then some would think and since Tesa was at home she wasn't wearing anything under the white cloth. She moved to open the door then and when she did she gave a wide grin at seeing who it was.

"Aedan! What a surprise! Please come in. What can I do for the man who helped a poor young goddess get settled in on the island"

Aedan walked into the room she continued giving him a pearly white smile as she closed the door behind him. It was kind of cute how gentlemanly he was, Tesa thought to herself as she moved over to the bottle of wine and took a small swig of the drink when she caught the words he was asking her and coughed a little bit. it only took a second to clear her chest of the wine so she could speak. "Oh, no I don't have any plans for tonight."

She looked down at the wine for a second before putting it gently down on the table. "Sure I could use some dinner. Plus it would be with such a nice guy too." She turned to look at Aedan. "Let me change real quick, this really isn't meant to be worn outside the house." She had to walk by Aedan and present her back to him but she was a little drunk, and she didn't mind it right now.

It didn't take her long to grab her cloths and leave the room to change into street cloths inside her small but loved bathroom. Her clothing was comprised of a simple green T-shirt and tight short shorts with leather strap sandals like the ones worn in Greece 'back in the day'. Before coming out and grabbing her purse "So, where is the kind gentleman taking me tonight?" She said still with a smile and a glow from the wine still in her system.

Tesa moved out of her dorm room and locked the door behind them as Aedan said she was going to love where they were headed. That made her perk up in interest some more, "Well that just means I'm going to be more excited to see it when we get there then won't it."

As they began walking out of the building she put her arm around her date's arm bringing them closer together. She didn't say much for a bit but she still had her warm only slightly drunk smile. Though her inner thoughts began to grow a bit darker as she thought of what she was doing and realised she was acting like her mother a little to much for her taste. So she undid her arm from around Aedans but she still kept her hand on his inner elbow and stayed only a little bit farther away.

Her demeanor changed to a little dower but in her drunk mind she made herself tell Aedan what was on her mind. "Sorry...I'm acting like my mother and...well...she's been trying to get me to act more like her for a couple of decades now and I really don't want to turn into another her."

Taking a moment to look over at Aedan she gave her a brief flash of a sad smile. "You sound like you're more trying to convince yourself then me." She then leaned over to him and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "But that was nice of you to say. I'm just a little drunk is all. Once it clears out I'll be a bit better off." It was about then that she gave a slightly course laugh.

"Though have you read anything about Greek gods? There is a little bit of recursion and repetition in the family. Hell Zeus still doesn't like any of his male children for fear they are going to over throw him." She smiled at that, it was one of her favorite personal jokes to think of if she ever got down on herself.

"But let's try not to feel down now. We are going to get some food and have a nice time with each other." Tesa's mood brightened as she said the words and her smile became more genuine.

"Oh, I haven't needed a second chance. Nothing has really happened that would require one. I'm just trying to get away from my mother, and this is truly the only other place I've been made aware of that would get me away from her." Tesa spoke expositionally.

When he said that she was having dinner with a wonderful girl it made Tesa blush a little more, though she had been asked out a lot she hadn't felt like accepting those men in Greece. But Aedan seemed different and maybe she was hoping that he would be different then all the other guys she had dated.

Soon they came upon a part of the road when Tesa smelled some familar smells of bread and meat all prepared in the ways of home. Aedan was taking her to a Greek resturaunt, at this moment Tesa had actually been missing some of the tastes of home. Tesa looked to Aedan as he said that it was a nice place and that they were more then likely going to enjoy it she gave him a big smile and moved closer to him again. "You have no idea how much this means to me right now Aedan."
