Asger Kleonidas

Asger is a pretty big, buff, and very superman like being that he's 6’4” and is just muscle. He has a strong chiseled Jaw, sharp piercing crimson eyes, and flowy golden locks that stop just past his jawline. Asger is anything but perfection.

His skin is always bright and radiant and void of any imperfections with the exception of a scar on his right shoulder which he obtained from fighting Ares, God of War.

Wardrobe wise he dresses very casual. When at home he stays in his pyjamas which is just boxers and some bright colorful shirts with cute cartoon images on them.

Though he didn't always look like this.

Asger was once frail and weak, his hair was just a simple auburn brown, his jawline was uneven, and his vision was beyond terrible. He wasn't perfect in his looks at all and thus he used to be called Asger The Horrible.​

Mr. Goody two shoes, Boy Scout, Dr. Heroics

Somethings he sometimes get called because of his kindness. Asger is a hero, he saves people and fights the baddies. Though since vigilantism is bad in this realm he does more random acts of kindness. Hungry? He is suddenly paying for your meal. Need help with putting groceries in the car? Asger got your back.

He is a fancy dancy duck. He has good etiquette like really good with the ma'ams and sirs.

Oh yeah he sorta talks a bit weird. He mostly uses a bit of old english, When addressing people he either uses their full name in a way like : “Will of Smith” or if not he uses their job title if they have one. Everyone gets this treatment.

Other traits of Asger is that he is calm, sometimes trying to go unnoticed and has a really big hearty laugh. He also probably has one of the most reassuring back pats anyone could ever give.

Now the warrior side of Asger? He’s alright I guess. Asger haven't really ever went full berserk on anyone after slaying some gods.

He is probably one of those fighters who fights people and legit offers them advice while fighting. “You missed however if you…..blah blah blah next time just maybe you can hit me.” types of advice. Asger also has some pride, like vegeta pride issues when fighting.

And some more character traits are: He dislikes eating beef since he has a cow, Asger sometimes gets a bit tense around dragons he doesn't have a undying hatred for them or anything...it's just dragons man. The man also loves fluffy objects and tiny animals are his weakness.

Gift of The Gods
Asger has received three blessings from some gods. The blessings are what makes him Divine and godlike.

Blessing of Immortality
Asger is immortal meaning he won't cease to exist. He can be “killed” though within an hour his corpse will turn to dust and he will awake either at home or somewhere else. He basically has a infinite amount of lives.

Blessing of Strength
This blessing gives him incredible strength. He is able to lift way more than any normal human can and he is also more durable. Asger can lift cars and things with a bit of ease and can lift up larger trucks such as fire trucks or construction vehicles.
He is even able to punch through steel.
Unlike the other Blessings, He actually has to pray right before to activity his strength. Which usually takes around five minutes of prayer time.

Blessing of Youth and Beauty
He is just beautiful and will always look like he is forever twenty one even when sick. This mostly passive blessing gives him a supernatural allure which mostly causes people to either wanting to be around him or just stare at him for long periods of time.
It isn't really powerful and actually hurts him more than anything since it makes it harder to go by unnoticed...unless he covers his face.

Saether, Blade of War
Named after the dragon he slayed, Saether is a 4ft long sword that he can manifest with magic. To summon he has to say a summoning prayer.

Seather is actually a elemental sword with it's to elements being fire and lightning. He is able to coat the sword in either element and is also able to fire of small condensed blasts of both. Yes. His sword can shoot at things.

To activate the elements he has to either say “Saether, Spark!” for lightning or “Saether, Flare!” for fire.

For safety reasons and anti theft, Saether cannot be wielded by anyone else unless granted permission to by Asger. Otherwise it would feel as if all the weight of gravity in the word was placed on the sword.

Divinity
Asger is Divine and could pretty much be mistaken for a god for anyone who has supernatural senses​

God Sense
Asger has been around many gods and divine beings before and due to being divine himself he can tell if someone is god or godlike. Though for demigods it is a bit faint and would require some focus.​

Achilles Heel
Asger has an Achilles Heel. A weak spot that will render him defeated. It's the scar on his right shoulder and if someone is able to get to that and stab or cut it, he will lose his strength for a few hours and would take a week for it to fully return to normal. He would be too weak to even move.​

Prayer
Asger has to always pray once a week to keep his blessings. The prayers don't exactly have to be directed to any one god. He could even actually pray to himself if he wanted.

It can't be a simple short prayer either, Asger has to pray for at least a entire day which would make the blessings work for that week. Though the only real exception to that would be his blessing of Strength which needs him to pray every time before use.

In the event he doesn't pray and his blessing of Immortality would be a bit null. He would still technically be immortal he just wouldn't respawn for either a few weeks or a month.​

Curse of Beauty
In everyone's else's eyes he probably looks handsome and charming. In Asger’s own eyes all of his reflections are just terrible and he looks like some spooky monster out some little kid’s nightmare. The only time he could look at his own face would be with a camera or picture and not with a mirror.​

Asger The Horrible​

The story starts in a world similar but yet so much different to Earth, In a realm beyond most people's grasps. A realm that in many ways parallel other but with it's few differences.

In this realm only known as Goua ( where knights and kings are still a thing) Our story follows a young lad known as Asger The Horrible.

How’d he get such a title? Simply because he was pretty bad to look at. Anyway, Asger lived with his pregnant blind wife (Because who else? Like you really had to be blind to like this guy) and his father and mother. They lived a simple farmer's life up until their little village was attacked!

It was Dragons. Two. Dragons.

Enkrot and Saether.

These dragons were siblings who terrorized the lands of their version of Earth and it's people for years. The two had found the small village of people simply by accident and decided to destroy it for fun.

Asger tried, he really tried to protect his family but he had to watch in horror as they were burned alive trapped inside his home.

There was nothing to save, no more home, and only a small handful of people had survived.

Three days had past before the royal army came through offering food and escort for those who wanted to head to the kingdom or another minor village.

The rest of the army were in a mission to kill Enkrot and Saether.

Being fueled with rage and hate our Hero ,Asger, volunteered to go with the royal army.

II
Asger The Slayer​

It took months to track down the dragons even with their path of destruction. In this time frame Asger was able to get training and even quickly moved up in the ranks faster due to his ability to quickly learn and his fearlessness for death. At this point Asger had nothing much to lose other than his life which meant nothing without his wife.

During these months the army came across more nasty creatures such as Poisonous Naga, Monstrous chimeras, tricky giant cave spiders, and the restless undead. They all fell to Asger’s blade and each kill brought him closer to the dragons. Due to this he gained the title: Asger The Slayer.

It was winter, a bitter and cold harsh winter when The Royal Army scouts came in with news that they found the cave were Enkrot and Saether used to hibernate in during the winter.

Once Asger heard this news he immediately went off ahead without the army although they immediately followed after him. Due to this recklessness the army had no time to prepare a well put together trap and was forced to just go head on with the dragons.

At first it turned out to be simple. The dragons were asleep and all Asger had to do was sneak in and kill them. He was going to do that if he didn't account for the army catching up quickly and someone else who wanted the dragon's dead as much as him. There was a tussle between Asger and another knight and due to this they accidentally caused an avalanche.

Half the army was out in the cold and the other half was sealed in with the waking dragons.

It was a bloodbath really. Most of the men died and just a few were lucky enough to escape to the more smaller parts of the cave.

Thus start the few Knights trail of surviving in the cave with Dragons until they either die or the dragons do.

An impossible feat to accomplish.

III
Asger The Hero​

Winter was over and spring was settling in.

It's been about three months since Asger, The General, and most of The Royal army was trapped in the cave with dragons.
The second half of the army made their way back to the cave and dugged their way into the cave mostly expecting to try and retrieve any of the bodies to return to their families.

That is when Asger and four others stepped out.

Yes they survived and killed the dragons! How? Well it isn't clear how. Some say they outsmarted the dragons and used the complex cave system to their advantage and others say a god aided them. There are many versions of the story of Knights who slayed Enkrot and Saether but they all have one thing in common.

Asger was the first to exit carrying a broken sword and a piece Saether’s tooth.
General Ran lost an arm
Holland and Variks praised the sun and the gods
And Louis carried out swords and shields of his fallen brethren to give to the families.

They were paraded all the way back to the kingdom, had a feast with the King and Queen and was rewarded quite handsomely.
Still even after everything Asger wasn't happy. There was nothing left for him.

His life however took a turn when a goddess came to him with a peculiar offer.

IV
Asger, The Champion of The Gods​

Asger was recruited by a god to participate in something similar to Colosseum games with a mix of heroic quests.

It is during this time where he had to accomplish many tasks such as “Kill the hydra first” or “Collect this item from a cave of undead beasts” and fight many other chosen champions of different gods.

The heroic quests became more gruesome and harder each go around. There were even times when the quests tooks years and some that required him to visit other realms and planets. Some hostile and some doomed to be destroyed within mere hours. There was a time where he and a few other champions were on one planet that met an unexpected fate and was destroyed by something that fell from the sky during one of their quests.

During this time period of his life, Asger won favors of other gods from all over who granted him special blessings such as, Immortality, Youth, and Strength.

Also a “War Cow” it was a joke by the gods because apparently they didn't have enough Pegasus to give out.

Though this was all for the Gods amusement in their spare time. Clearly not caring for their chosen champions lives unless bets were placed.

He was supposed to live this life forever as in truth he was just a toy for the gods to play with until he broke. It is when he learned that one of the gods were a reason that Enkrot and Saether destroyed his town over something entirely petty. This is when Asger was once again filled with rage and had enough.

So taking his sword and with some anonymous help from a certain vague war god which came in form of a magic blade; Asger used it to kill his godly masters. In a very Kratos like style.

Thus he and many others were free and when he killed those gods he became more Divine…..Godlike. Of course he never really accepted being called a god so he prefers the term “Divine Being”

Asger of Manta Carlos​

After that wild ride with the gods and other realms.
Asger met a sorcerer who was able to send him to another realm as he was officially done with being a champion.

This his how he ended up popping up in the middle of some fountain stark naked in the middle of the city. That was eight years ago actually...kinda made the news “Man appears naked in a popular water fountain downtown.” Probably….some videos and pictures of that scene somewhere.

Now eight years later, living in a farmhouse, Asger is working as an active member as a Scout for the school
