"I'm fine," he'd say, opening his mouth to show his fang was undamaged. "Takes more than old wood to hurt mu fangs," he'd hold up the brush to show that its handle was skewered through.

"So, yeah, all good," he'd say with a small smile, the she'd notice his mouth move as if in discomfort. Finally he'd extend a claw and quickly pluck a splinter from his gums, it had a little blood but nothing he was worried about.

"Ok, now it's all good," he'd say disposing on the splinter.

Accepting the brush he'd give her a quick kiss on the cheek, both to thank her and to see her melt again. "I heal fast hon," he'd say, resuming painting. "Though....wood doesn't taste very good," he'd say with a slightly embarrassed chuckle.

He'd add a bit more to the painting, humming a bit as he did. "What do you want for dinner?" he'd ask. "I'll order us something."

Stepping back, he'd wipe a bit of sweat from his forehead, unintentionally leaving a streak of yellow paint there that he didn't notice. "I'll be finishing up for today soon, and I'm usually pretty hungry after working on a project," mainly because he usually forgot to eat.

He'd grin a bit at her chittering. "That was adorable," he'd say, gently teasing her. "Owen's meatery sounds good," he'd add a bit more to the painting, "and I think it's time for a break." Miss Dollop was nice and knew she'd understand if he needed a tiny bit more time.

"Clean me up?" he'd ask, letting her wipe st his forehead, blushing when he realized what she meant. "Didn't realize I got paint on me," he'd say, brushing his hair back once she'd finished.

Putting his things away he'd step beside her, wrapping an arm around her. "So...," he'd pull out his phone, pulling up the meatery's menu. "What kind of cuts do you want?" he'd ask, showing her the menu.
