Private Art For Vampire And Spider

The white haired boy had been staring at it for a bit now. It was the model of a small town, a lamp placed behind it to simulate the sun. Next to the vampire was a blank canvas, he was supposed to be painting, but hadn't started yet.

He heard the sliding door behind him open, his nose picking up the familiar scent, a small smile appearing on his face. "Hey there," he'd say, stepping over to her, his right hand twirling a paintbrush. Amber had texted him wanting to hang out, so he'd invited here even though he working on something.

Nathan would give her a quick kiss. "Hope you won't find this too boring," usually he'd drop everything but he really needed to get work done on the project. @Pallas

He'd snort and chuckle a little at her joke. "Hmmm....kinda," he'd step behind the mode town, adjusting the lamp a bit. "Sorta blanked a bit, trying to figure out where to start," he'd step back around, looking it over with the adjusted lighting.

Nathan would click his tongue, chewing on his brush as he continued to stare at the model. "Lighting can be weird....even small changes to it can...well change everything."

The vampire would look between his canvas and the model. "And its been a while since I've seen the sun."

"You can pass paint, once I figure out what to do," he'd say smiling. "Honestly....hearing your voice is nice, I think it sorta helps when I'm trying to be artistic." He'd tap his brush on the canvas, of course it had no paint on it yet.

"Remember that sketch of Izzy I gave you?" he'd ask, looking at her. "I sketched that like....right after talking with you," she was a positive influence on him, something good in his life.

"Maybe you're my good luck charm?" he'd ask with a tiny smile.

He'd snort. "Would a kiss work instead?" he'd ask, leaning down and giving her a quick kiss on the lips. "They're a good start," he'd say, smiling and picking up the tubes, setting them on the small desk next to him.

The vampire would hum in thought before starting, working on the sky, blue and white going into it. "So how badly has your family been teasing you?" he'd ask with a tiny chuckle, his hands continuing to do their work.

Stepping he'd take a small step back, looking over his work, clicking his tongue before continuing. "A few of our classmates has been poking at me, saying they knew we'd end up together."

He'd snicker. "You melting every time we kiss is adorable," he actually kinda hoped she never stopped doing that, he thought it was endearing. "That's good," he hadn't met any of her family yet, he supposed Amber would introduce them when she was ready.

The vampire would nod. "Yeah, we found our own way to each other," his hand continued to work, the colors appearing on the canvas. "Though....might copy then and try the mistletoe thing on you when Christmas comes again," he'd say with a smile.

Nathan would step back a bit to get a different perspective of the model, chewing on the handle of his brush. His chewing got a little more intense as he thought. Suddenly he'd stop, then very slowly pulling it off of his fang, having accidentally skewered it.
