It had been a long trip, longer then Kerum had expected but finally he had found the island. Sanctuary as he would call it, a place he could hide and not worry about being hunted just because of what he was. All Kerum owned was what was on his body. He was wearing a black sleeveless shirt and white jeans. Over his shirt he had on his signature long jacket with fur lining to keep him warm. On each hip he had a long sword, other then that he owned nothing at all.

So far his trip through the island to the school was amazing, people who were clearly demon's or other species were roaming around having a good time. Powers were being used out in the open as if it was not something to hide and be afraid of. That did not help Kerum with his anxiety however as this was a place he was still unsure about. A few people he gathered the courage to ask told him he should go to the academy and they would be able to help him. What was worse for Kerum was he had not had any blood in a few weeks so it was very hard to be around other people.

Webb was merely sitting around reading a book when he saw the new kid walking by everyone. Or at least he sure did look new. He wasn't wearing the uniform yet, and he seemed shy as hell. Since he didn't have anything better to do but read more of his book, he decided to get up and start walking to the new kid, his suit making his steps heavy. Suddenly his suit garbled out something that anyone who listened could hear.

"Trid eht sretne taht mrow wen yreve pleh ot deen eth leef uoy od yhw, eno wen rehtona ton ti nmad? (Damn it not another new one, why do you feel the need to help every new worm that enters the dirt?)" Azrael spat out in eternal frustration, not at all happy with being dragged around by worms.

"Because I am actually a decent person that is why. He's new and could use a helping hand with things." Webb replied to his ever rebellious suit. Azrael himself looked like some kind of organic power armor, the only noticible face being a few indentations and holes where a face should be.

Once Webb had reached the new guy he immediately stuck out his chitinous hand to shake the strangers.

"Hello, my name is Webb, what is yours?" he said in a deep but calm voice.

"Nac uoy fi retsaf eid esaelp, lleh ot uoy nmad. (Damn you to hell, please die faster if you can.)" Azrael added.

"Ignore him, he's always cranky."

Lost in his own thoughts Kerum literally did not even notice the suit of armor approach until he was close enough to touch him. When it reached out his hand Kerum quickly hopped back and crouched low getting into a defensive stance his right hand drifting almost to touching his swords. Then he took in the thing that had approached him. The thing looked like it was made of metal, plus he seemed to talk on its own in a language Kerum had never heard.

Lowering his hand from his sword and standing up he looked at Webb with curiosity but also with caution. Slowly he reached out his hand, "I am Kerum, nice to meet you." More of a habit then anything Kerum quickly looked around the area with quick glances making note of all the shadows in the area especially the one the man named webb was making.

"Eno yppah reggirt a, taerg ho. (Oh great, a trigger happy one.)" Azrael sneered as the boy leapt backwards ready to attack. Luckily the boy must have only been spooked because he relaxed immediately afterwards. Maybe he should go a little slower.

"Well, a common question for newbies around here tends to be 'what are you?' I'll start, I'm a highly trained soldier created to wear an eldritch abomination like a second birthday suit. Oh, and the cranky suit in question is Azrael."
He said, folding his arms to get more comfortable. He had to stand at a good seven feet tall, though in reality Webb himself was only around 5'6".

"Sllabeye ruoy no wehc dna rae ruoy tuo niarb ruoy pruls lli ro, ereh mi taht tegrof tnod. (Don't forget that I'm here, or I'll slurp your brain out your ear and chew on your eyeballs!)"

Staring in almost believe but not so much because of the explanation. "Well that is good to know, but to be honest I barely know what half if not more of these people area." Kerum motioned with his hand to sweep out and show he meant the rest of the students. It was a lot to take in all at once, especially when you grew up hiding what you were and never really meeting anything like you.

"Well it is nice to kind of meet you Azrael, I assume that is the one making strange noises." Kerum mentioned as she dusted his coat off a bit more out of anxiety then it needed to be dusted. "So how long have you been here?" Kerum asked.

"Ffo zzab ot tsep eth llet. (Tell the pest to buzz off.)" Azrael spat, trying to find a way out of talking to another mind numbingly dull lesser being.

"He says it's a pleasure to meet you too." Webb said, mocking Azrael for being a prick.

"Thgir ti yas! Uoy nmad! (Damn you! Say it right!)" Azrael shouted before using some of his latent eldritch power to cause Webb some discomfort. Webb shook his head as a headache became his punishment.

"God that hurts. Ok, so that's not actually what he said. He actually said something a little more mean, but as Azrael should know by now, I don't translate mean comments for him!" Webb said, speaking the last few words like he was not-so-subtly telling off a misbehaving child.

"Anyway, I've been here for a couple months."
