Earth, he'd chosen to return, to help people. Talion had been given a gift of healing and with it a purpose. So he'd left heaven for now, to fulfill his purpose.

Arrival from heaven, to him it'd been instant, a blur of light and he was on the grass, his black wings stretching put. To anyone watching, they would have seen a flash and beam of light. The young angel had arrived.

Talion's emerald green eyes looked around his surroundings, his archangel mentor had told him of the island, how it'd been a save haven for the supernatural for centuries. The immediate area seemed empty, until his eyes found someone, a girl around his age. White hair, red eyes, pale skin. Talion smiled and waved, "hello there," he greeted in his light English accent. He was excited to be here, excited to begin, "this Manta Carlos right?" he asked folding his wings behind him.

Agatha had been exploring the island a little more, remaining close to populated area and not daring to venture too far into the wild as she knew she could make some bad encounters there. To be honest, she appreciated solitude, it helped her recharge her batteries every now and then. In her hometown it was difficult to go out, everyone knew who she was : The daughter of the local boogieman and people hated her for it, but here ? She wasnt any different than anyone else. Weird bodies seemed to be the norm. She had found a small park and was going through a book. The weather was cloudy at best, so she didnt need to wear her hoodie to protect her delicate skin. In fact she was wearing a tank top and a some camouflage fatigue pants, it allowed her to go into the wild without dirtying herself too much. She had a backpack with her.

As she was reading through quite fast there was a sudden change in atmosphere and there seemed to be a slight sunny spell and she frowned...If it was getting anymore sunny she was going to have to protect her skin someh...

She was interrupted mid thought by a pillar of light materialising close to her, shilding her eyes and gasping in surprise, she took a step back and fell on her rear. For a split second she was completely blind, letting out a small cry of panic, she rubbed her sensitive eyes and tried to get up...Whatever was happening it might be dangerous and she needed to get to safety. As she wandered clumsily and fell on her knees again, she managed to finally see a figure appearing in the pure light. In front of her was a young man of divine appearance, emerald green eyes, short black hair but most importantly a pair of lustrous black wings behind his back.

Agatha jaw dropped. Then it closed, then it dropped again as he finally talked to her the chubby albino girl stood there, just staring at him for a couple of seconds before nodding at his question and whimpered a bit. She looked completely at loss for words.

Talion tilted his head slightly, a kind curious smile on his face, "are you ok?" Stepping over to the mysterious girl, "I'm sorry if I startled you," crouching, he offered her his hand, "angels are common here right?"

He gently helped her to her feet, "sorry about that." The young angel gave her a kind smile, "I'm Talion, I...well as you saw, I just arrived," his wings seemed to vanish into his back as he spoke.

His eyes looked around the area again, "I'm happy I ran into you, I'd be quite lost without someone." Talion grinned a bit, "I'd hate to a bother, but could you show me to the school."

Her eyes were barely done adjusting to the light, but it seemed like Talion himself was blinding to her. When he asked her if she was okay she nodded in awe. She then gave him her hand when he helped her up and listened to him. In fact, she was starring so intensely she didnt even notice his wings disapearing before quite a while. Talion then proceeded to speak uninterrupted as Agatha was trying her best to reboot and launch her brain. Finally when he asked her to show him the school she seemed to snap out of it, realising she had been starring rudely all this time she lower her eyes. She was a bit taller than he was at 5.20 yet she was acting as if she was a small thing. Joining her hands together she realised she was blushing a lot uncontrollably. She couldnt quite pinpoint why.

"Y...Yes of course. Please follow me."

She packed her things and lead the way. Her mind was already looking for the cause of her embarassement. It wasnt like her to fall like that for someone at first sight, especially someone who was...So close to magic. Maybe he was an angel, afterall he looked divine...No no Agatha focus...

She felt the same thing that she felt for that one boy, and no one else back when she still was out there, in her hometown. Something she thought she could only feel with him : The sensation that everything was alright, that she had no problem...Was he providing it to her somehow ? She needed to know.

"I...Realise I havent introduced myself...I'm...Agatha. Agatha Kingsley. Nice to meet you."

She looked quite shy and awkward and was looking straight ahead of her, not looking back to look him in the eyes

"A...Pardon me if I'm rude but, the name, the dark wings a...Are you...Did you...Fall ? Are you a warrior angel ?"

Before starting to feel all flustered, she needed to know if she was in any danger.

"Thank you," he said gratefully and followed her. "It's good to meet you Agatha," he grinned, Talion was overall a friendly person. "I wasn't really sure what I'd see when I arrived, happy I met someone friendly," he green eyes looked over everything they passed curiously.

"Fallen?" he chuckled a bit, "no, my wings are black to match my hair, don't think I'd look good with white wings." He smiled kindly, "I'm no warrior, pretty average angel," he said humbly.

"If you don't mind me asking, but are you new to the island?" he tilted his head curiously, "I was told we were common here, that Manta Carlos was a hub for supernatural beings." He continued talking to, what appeared to be a new friend, completely unaware of the aura he was giving off.

If he wasnt aware of his aura it surely wouldnt be Agatha who'd be the one to tell him. For her she was somehow experiencing peace for the first time in years. Imagine you've been carrying a heavy bag for months and suddenly someone take it from you. This was what she was experiencing right now. She felt free, and light and happy. As he grinned to her she smiled too. It was communicative how his happyness rubbed on her, her smile wasnt meek this time, it was rather radiant too. She was glad he found her friendly, because she felt the same way...And suddenly was dying to know more about him.

"Oh...Yes I'm new. I'm sorry, I may not be a good guide under those circumstances."

She grinned, suddenly lifting herself up a little. She was always walking around a bit hunched as if she was carrying all of the world's sorrow but right now, her whole body language had changed entirely.

"You are the first angel I meet...Though is there really something as an average angel?"

She chuckled, suddenly in a good mood

"Are all the others angels like you ?"

"Oh I'd say you're doing fine job," he eyes looked over things as they past, but always returned to her, they shinned with curiosity and kindness. "I probably would have wandered off in the wrong direction if you weren't here," he was grateful for her helping.

"Oh yes, many angels, different kinds to," he talked happily, it was his first conversation on Earth is three years. "Archangels, guardian angel...me I'm just a kid wings," he joked with a smile, "you'll probably see plenty here."

He could see the city poking out over the hill ahead of them, "I heard that the school is just, full of supernatural beings," he said, a bit of excitement in his voice.

She felt herself beaming when he told her she was doing a good job and she couldnt help but smiling...She had yet to meet angels but if there was others like him she would devote her life to find them...She had trouble looking him in the eyes, they were an intense green afterall. She clumsily pushed some of her white hair behind her ear and gave him a quick glance.

"Is that so? I had yet to meet any angels, so you're the first I ever saw..."

She saw the city in the distance and she immediately replied to his question.

"So I heard. I met a couple of it's students and they seemed nice too. It's funny I...Kind of always thought Angels would learn to be angels in heaven...Or at least be formed immediately with powers and purpose by god...Are you coming here to learn how to use your powers too ? Is this place...Some kind of heavenly training ground ? I thought The divine didnt quite like sorcerers"

She blushed and went back to looking down.

"Sorry if I'm bothering you with my questions."

"Normally they would learn in heaven," he said chuckling a little, "but I chose to come here, I know about my powers, but I think there's always more to learn." He grinned at her, "I hear this island has a lot to offer." He decided not to mention he was once human, for now anyways.

Talion shook his head, "you're not a bother, I'm enjoying talking to you." He gave her another friendly grin before looking back toward the city, "look you can see other beings flying, dragons and maybe other angels."

The city was coming more and more into view, "it looks incredible." He turned, "thank you, I'll have to repay you once I'm enrolled," he said with a grateful smile.

The smile she had on her face wasnt leaving anytime soon. In fact it was getting a bit worse. When she smiled it was usually awkward but here, it was something else, like talking to a completely different person. From the shy, reserved bookish nerd that was building thick walls between her and everyone, she seemed to have evolved into a happy, confident young woman. Going even as far as to look him fondly rather than lowering her gaze

"That's so wise of you ! Everyone can learn from anything, people just need to come together...You have a very open mind...Or maybe the other races didnt keep to themselves as much as I thought they were. Honestly, it's kind of hard to fight certains Ideas you've been growing with, but I'm trying."

She looked like she reached peak positivity when he told her she wasnt a bother.

"Thank you ! I like talking to you too ! You seem like someone amazing to get to know ha ha..."

Looking over the city as he instructed her to she saw for the first time the paradise where she had landed as what it was and not what it could turn up to be. For a second she was breathtaken by the look of epic fantasy that unfolded before her eyes. She had gone so long in the darkness hating magic and it's consequences that she had forgotten what she enjoyed in it in the first place.

"Woaw..."

She said, standing still for a couple of seconds as Talion looked like he was about to take his leave, even before she started to think of a reply she said.

"Wait ! I'm not registered too, you mind if I tag along ? I've been a little nervous to go on my own, but somehow I feel like with you I can take on anything coming my way !"

In her normal state, she would have never been so bold to ask something of him so directly, but right now it felt like she was walking on sunshine.
