Argenta Beast-Touched

Appearance
Seeing Argenta is like seeing a painting of a person superimposed upon a photograph. Her features don't blend into the hard realism of the world around her; there's always something somewhat off that is hard to pin down each time.
Her hair falls around her head in wavy silver strands that catch light, occasionally reflecting it off in different colors like a prism. She usually wears her hair in pigtails or leaves it down, but it always falls to cover one of her eyes.
When her eyes are visible, they can be seen to have a red iris that is ringed in a halo of silver similar to her hair. They are large and expressive, but tend to default to a kind of judgemental squint.
Argenta's skin is a dark caramel color, and free of any kind of blemish. Her face is rounded with a small button nose and long ears that taper to knife-like points.

Her usual style has a subdued femininity to it, with the occasional tomboyish flair. Skirts and knee socks with a t-shirt and hoodie, or a blouse with baggy shorts and sneakers. Things like that. She sometimes sports some kind of bandages on her knees and arms, from all the time she spends outside.

Species Abilities
Like most Fae, Argenta is long lived. She will undoubtedly outlive many many generations of humans, should no tragedy befall her.
She is quite agile, and this takes an unnatural bent as she can leap to any tree branch that she can see as easy as one might leap over a log, provided of course no physical barrier blocks her way. Her weight will also never cause a branch to bend or break, no matter how thin it is.
Argenta is also Beast Touched. She can speak to animals of all kinds as easily as two friends speak to one another, and often carries on wonderful conversations with wildlife. Her Beast Touched nature also lends her the forms of animals. Argenta can become any animal she has seen firsthand before, provided it is no bigger than a fox and is no smaller than a mouse. She can change forms a total of five times every thirteen minutes. If she reaches her limit of transformations before the time limit resets, she is stuck in whatever form she took until then.

~Weaknesses~
Iron is anathema to the Fae, and will burn Argenta on contact.
Likewise, Argenta cannot lie. She can get away with half-truths or tell a lie that she believes to be true, but cannot purposefully tell a lie.
Argenta also must repay any debt she owes ten-fold. Debts are not related in number of favors, but depend on the size of the debt. She will be magically compelled to agree to a request from a person she owes a debt to, provided the request would not overpay the debt owed. Once a debt has been repaid, the bond is broken.

Background
Argenta was a human infant brought to Underhill, with a Fae being left in her place. Though technically a prisoner, she was never treated as such and was raised as a servant of her Court. The Fae of her Court treated her well enough, and she loved her life there. Over the years, her human features began to change and grow to more closely resemble a Fae. She was much loved by most members of her Court, and she loved being there.

Her third century however, a member who resented her presence conspired to force her to break the rules of Court. They placed Argenta in a situation where no matter which decision she made, she would be guilty of some crime. It played out precisely as they intended, and Argenta was set to be banished from Underhill forever.
But Underhill herself is capricious and had grown to love this little girl for reasons all her own. Before she was sent away, Underhill gave her a kiss, a gift of animal affinity. The little semi-Fae became Beast Touched.

Argenta was deeply saddened by her expulsion from her home. But she also revealed in her new chance to explore the world. She spent all of her time exploring the forests, talking with animals and generally being a child.
Not much time would be spent here however, as she was found by scouts from Starlight Academy who had taken notice of the gate from Underhill opening. She was taken to Manta Carlos where she spent her first year playing catch up to the other students so that she could be put into the school proper.
