Zora nodded very sheepishly at Donny's gentle reprimand, realising that she had been a little too enthusiastic with her shooting of the dummy, Clyde. Deciding that this time she wouldn't mess up - or at least not as badly as before, Zora pointed lifted the gun up, aimed and fired just one shot this time. And surprisingly enough, at least for her, it actually hit Clyde straight in the stomach area.

"Oof, gut shot. He's gonna die all slow, and painful unless he gets medical attention," if it wasn't clear before, he was definitely enjoying this. Third time was in fact the charm. Donny tapped his chin thoughtfully, "How confident are you feeling right now?"

"Actually, I feel pretty good..." Zora admitted as she looked at the gun in her hands and then at Donny. Truthfully, she hadn't thought she'd be all that good with a gun. But maybe the fact she used her magic directionally on things helped, she did not know.

"Shooting is a bit easier than I thought it might be..." or at least it was easier than trying to defend hersefl from an attacker through kicks and jabs.

"That's great, you're getting into the groove of it then," Donny nodded, sounding somewhat satisfied before moving right onto his next point. All of this was great for business, but he always felt like he was making an investment with clients like this. He needed to keep them alive.

"I gotta know, what kind of abilities you're packing yourself. Those can still be handy in a jam, on top of just basic self defense."

"I am a mage actually..." Zora said with a grin at Donny's question, "My skills are, well, here on the island, they call it elemental magic, I think... but basically I can manipulate water in all its forms whether it be water vapor or ice," she explained.

"Handy. How good are you with it in a fight?"

Donny was already mentally noting all of the potential practical applications of the ability in a fight. He wasn't necessarily saying be wholly dependent on her abilities, but they could work to great effect.

"I guess what I'm getting at here is you want all your arsenal ready to go when the time comes. Not saying take up Krav Maga... though that would probably help but... you know."

"Truthfully?" Zora said as she looked fixedly at Donny, "Horrible. I have never had to use my magic offensively. For that matter, I've never had to use it defensively either." she said, somewhat embarrassed to admit that.

"Krav Maga might actually be easier to learn if I'm honest. I actually have a self-defence teacher, who by the way, she kicks my ass constantly, but I guess that's how you learn, no?" Zora admitted with a little shrug, smiling at how bad she was at first.

"Ah... yeah that's a bit of a problem for sure. I guess just stick to your guns then," he smirked and gestured for her to follow him back out to the sales floor. He grabbed a box of bullets and a fresh glock on their way out.

"Charms won't be ready for a couple days, but I can at least sell you the gun and the bullets now. Just remember, only use this if you absolutely have to."

From there he walked her through making the purchase, which included a down payment on the charms. "I'll just need a name and number and you'll be set."

"Yes, I guess it would be best if I stick to my guns," Zora laughed at the joke. Donny was quite witty, she had to admit. "At least, I know I can shoot a dummy, standing still and at twenty paces," she joked.

Giving Donny her business card, she also wrote down her personal number on the back - just in case. "Here you go, business, private," Zora said handing Donny the card and paying for everything.
