Polite: Noah goes above and beyond when it comes to
respecting those around him. Even in a life-threatening situation, he will still shout commands at suspects respectfully. As an officer of a law, this is generally required, however, Noah has found himself to be a polite person wherever he goes. Apologizing at very little matters, he always finds a way to show respect.
Caring: Noah tends to try to help a situation whenever possible, even if the help is unwanted. He believes that every problem has a solution, and, while he can't always fix it, he can help someone else to.
Impulsive: Noah will often make decisions quickly, even on the spot, with little to no prior thought. This impulse, while extremely effective in dealing with tricky situations, causes Noah to say and do things he may not necessarily mean.
Focused: Noah, through heavy reflection on his life as a whole, has allowed him to become focused, whether in work or casually. His colt, made of pure silver, with a golden barrel. The barrel, made of pure gold and tipped with a magical ring infused with man unknown magic, increases the magical strength of the projectiles that pass through it. In turn, the gun shoots bullets which can pierce certain magic barriers. If the barrier has a presence dependent on the active use of the opponent's magic, it can cleanly be cut through. Ergo, if a barrier can only be produced by the constant use of magic, it can be cleanly pierced. Ex. A magic shield or force field.
If the barrier were to exist after the user were to stop actively using magic, then the bullet would respond to solid surfaces normally. Ex. An earthbender's shield of rock.
However, surfaces that exist after discontinuing magic, but are still made of pure magic, (depending on the characters' abilities) cannot be pierced, but weakened as a whole. The amount of shots required usually depends on the barrier. Generally, a weak magical barrier would take about a clip to a clip and a half to break, without hitting the user.
The ring cannot be broken, and the gun is very unlikely to be broken. However, the gun and ring can be separated by an intense amount of concentrated energy. Ex. An attack that would detract from a person's life force, targeted at the magical bond between the gun and ring (which is also unknown, as dismantling the gun would be the only way to observe a magical bond.)

Noah can sense the magical presence of others.
Noah's primary weapon, which has a magical aura, is almost constantly with him. He has gotten accustomed to the feeling of a magical presence at his side, and has learned to distinguish that feeling and one of no magical presence. (Mainly when his gun is not equipped).
When the feeling of presence is greater than it usually is, even with Noah's gun at his side, he realizes and can locate the approximate direction of a magical presence. Generally, depending on the level of concealment, Noah can still sense some concealed presences, generally all of those not concealed by magical abilities. Additionally, his gun currently hinders his ability to determine the specific direction of a magical aura, as Noah senses the gun's aura as well.

he channels his energy into intimidating screams of orders to suspects. This makes him more likely to intimidate an enemy into subduing.

Noah grew up in Manta Carlos, natively, as he lived with only his mother. Never having met his Dad, he assumed that he left when Noah was born.
As a child, Noah wasn't the most popular child. If anything, widely ignored. But Noah didn't care that much. He wasn't extremely worried about making friends or meeting new people. He went through school very quickly and efficiently, and went through school not knowing what he wanted to do. He was 17 whenever he had his first legal incident. He was asleep in his small house with his mother in a nearby room, at about 1 in the morning, when he suddenly woke to the noise of screaming followed by a single gunshot and silence. He instantly took out his phone and ran to the closet, where he shut the door once inside and immediately called police. They arrived about 2 minutes later, as sirens could be heard outside. All Noah could hear were gunshots for about 10 seconds, then silence. Police found him there and brought him out of the house, where he saw a random man and his mother lying on the ground, lifeless. The gun used by the criminal was taken as evidence, a silver colt with a glowing tip, which was later found to be magical by examination of the MCPD. Noah was put in police custody, seeing as he was almost 18, until he was released as a legal citizen. He then, after extensive training, became an officer in order to prevent things like this from ever happening to others again. Immediately after applying, he requested the rights to the gun that was used to kill his mother. It had been years since that day, and the case was closed, so the department allowed it. He then wanted to find out if using the gun on-duty would be appropriate.
The gun was near standard, a low cal. pistol of reasonable weight. It seemed to be a modification of a Colt .45. Naturally, they said they'd allow it. He then vowed to use the gun of his mother's murderer to protect the peace of the city.
He, to this day, thinks about it every time he has to pull his gun.
