Adoption Week: Celebrated on the second week of April, this is an island-only holiday, celebrating and encouraging adoption and fostering on the island. An unfortunate reality is that many children on the island arrive with no family to speak of, and the holiday involves a number of events and pushes for awareness towards the lack of adoptive parents on the island.
Hexxenacht: Celebrated on the night of April 30th, this holiday is originally a Germany holiday, spoken of only in folklore. Residents of the narrow reality believed that the witches of the world gathered on that one night to celebrate, and on Manta Carlos the magical community has taken up the legend and made it real. The island celebrates with bonfires, magical displays, and awareness about the history of magical communities worldwide.
Adoption Week: This year a thread will be put up for children who want to get adopted and adults who want to adopt. We also encourage people who participate in the holiday to post threads showcasing their new families.
Hexxenacht: An ICC event will be held on the last weekend of the month to celebrate. More information will be available at mid-month.
