Applying to Staff

Prospective admins and mods are both approached by staff directly, and there is no way to apply to either position. However, we do take applications for two types of rangers. Applications are always open to any active member of the site who has been on the site for at least a month.

Event Rangers
Event Rangers, as the name implies, will be assisting the staff by helping with site events. This includes organizing events, whether on the forum or in the ICC.

Lore Rangers
Lore rangers assist the staff by writing short newspaper blurbs to keep our island happenings up to date, and by (when requested), helping to flesh out our wiki with new ideas for the setting.

Both types of rangers will maintain the orange color and ranger position on discord, and will be expected to follow site rules as current rangers do. Neither conveys any extra privileges, or provides any bonuses.

Both of these positions are open for any member who wishes to volunteer. If you're interested, send @Romi a PM on-site. We train new rangers as they come on, and past experience is not required. While we are willing to give anyone a chance, rangers who do not contribute will be returned to normal member position.
