Lucan sat outside his house, humming a little, Elisa had texted him, said she needed to talk about something important. He wasn't sure what it was about, so he waited for his girlfriend, quietly sipping his soda as he did, wondering what was going on.

(I apologise for my earlier mistake if you saw it)

Elisa knew where to find the house, she came here enough times. Well, she left here enough times as Lucan usually teleported her in. She wished it was one of those nights. At least then she wouldn't feel so bad.

Spotting him, she walked up slowly, she could sense he was happy about something. Was it her? She hoped it was, maybe it could lessen her blow.

"Hey Lucan," She said finally. "Thanks for waiting for me."

"Hey love," he'd say, giving his girlfriend a smile, standing he'd hug and kiss her, he was indeed happy to see her, he loved being with her, "thanks for coming, I was going to see if you'd like to meet with Amalia and head back to the festival."

Then he looked at her, she looked almost upset, "is something wrong?" he'd ask, tilting his head, worrying a bit now.

She was glad that he was happy, but Elisa knew that wasn't going to last. "Thanks, Lucan. Yeah, if you want we can get Amalia and go." He always tried to make things fun.

She could sense emotion, but it seemed he was more perceptive. "Um, yeah. I think. Remember what we told each other in confidence?"

He'd tilt his head, another ping of worry going through him, he could tell something was wrong. "Yeah, I remember," she'd told him about the gender thing and he'd told her about him being half demon.

"Did something happen?" he'd ask, concerned that someone was bothering her over things.
