((*hasn't rped much lately* Just a warning.))

Ithen wandered through the city streets glancing at the windows as he past them. In one of these glances he saw he was by a small diner, and entered.
As soon as he got inside the door a young waitress came up to him and smiled. He smiled back, then looked boredly away. 'Will you be eating alone?' she asked.
Way to make me feel great... he thought, moving his gaze back to her.
'Why yes, I will.' He said, feigning a smile.
As she led him to a small table in the back he surveyed the room, their were only a few others; mostly couples. He made a face, and then realized the waitress had stopped. She stood expectantly by a small booth, the cusioned seats were worn and spotted with stains. 'Is this good?' she asked.
'It's lovely.' He said inclining his head to her. He then flopped himself in one of the seats and closed his eyes immidiatly. The sound of his menu being laid on the table and feet shuffling away came to him, but he kept his eyes closed, deciding to take a nap.

The figure of a slender female was seen as she made her way into the dinner, a sadden expression upon her features. The femme smiled lightly at the waitress as she just silently followed her to a booth, the waitress not even bothering in asking her if she would eat accompanied. The sketchbook the femme gripped was prove enough of her lonelyness.

Zack was dressed in a short jean skirt, black tight pants that reached her calf being sean beneath them and a tight red t shirt upon her torso. A red hat being upon her head, while a small rodent perched upon it.

Natural red hair was seen upon her, bright green eyes falling upon the male that seemed to be slumbering as her features changed to the shadow of a smile, her cheeks blushing to a healthy rosy hue.

She neared the male shyly once the waitress left.
Excuse me, are you eating by yourself?
Her voice was barely above a whisper.

He sat for a few moments, not sure where he was, then sat up quickly. 'I was just...pondering what to order.' He said quickly, then cleared his throat. Glancing at the menu he said the first thing he saw, 'I'll get the cheese ravioli please.'
It was only then that he looked to who had spoken. He sat for a few monets, then lookrd at her outfit. 'You're not a waitress are you?'
He looked down, aparantly thinking to himself. 'No...no you're not...'
He sat like this for a few moments, staring at his knees, and then he snapped out of it.
He looked quickly to the girl and said, 'Sorry about that. I though you were the waitress, come to kick me out for sleeping here.' He smiled and said, 'Would you like to sit?' And gestured to the seat across from him.

Zack giggled and shook her head.
It's your table you can do as you wish.
She commented, subdued as she thought he might be upset at her interrupting him or asking a question of the same nautre as hers.

Cheese ravioli sounds good actually.
She said with an appreciative nod but then shrugged lightly as she saw the recognition flash. She smiled and giggled at his next question.

I'm sorry I'm not but if you want I can get her for you. They can get your raviolii in no time.
She said offered.

She heard his question and nodded and sat.
I'm sorry for intruding. I'm Zack.
She said softly, and realizing he didn't ask her question she looked up sharply.

If you your date's going to show up I should get going, I don't want to get you in trouble.

He laughed at this. 'While I'm flattered by your assumption, I'm afraid not all women are as brave as you. To come speak with me and then, further, to sit? It's quite impressive really.' He laughed again, and continued, 'I'm not exactly the most popular person. Most likely people are offended that I don't pay attention to them.' He sighed, and shook his head sadly, 'I try to explain; their just boring. But they never seem to want to listen. So, in short, you can stay if you want.'
He then looked to her with a quirky smile, 'I'm sorry, all this talk and I haven''t even introduced myself. My name's Ithen.' He extended a hand to her, smiling.
'And I'll just wait for the waitress to come, though thank you for the offer.'

((blah, blah, blah....I make him talk too mcuh >.<))

Zack seemed shocked at his comment, even more surprised about his view about how people were boring. She looked down, staring at her laptop for a second and then looked up at him again.
I'm not brave, it's just valentines and I didn't see anyone around you. It's not a day to be by one's self.
She said softly, her cheeks being flushed. The femme was actually normally quite shy, she knew not why she was actually speaking to the male at all.

She took his hand shyly and shook it.
Starlight?
She asked almost imediatedly, the name sounded familiar.

'Unfortunately,' he replied, shaking her hand, then taking his back and placing it on the table.
'I suppose you're right about valentines day. It's not excatly the best feeling to be alone around so many couples.' He tried to ignore the couple in another booth who had begun kissing.
'Though, I suppose if your on a date this day might actually be enjoyable.' He smiled ruefully, 'Not that I would really know.'
His eyes drifted down to teh table and he strumed his fingers on his knees. Then, remembring what she'd said before he commented, 'You seem fairly brave to me. I mean, braver than some people at least.' He grinned, 'And I still have to give you points for daring to approach me.-Not that you should be afraid,' he added quickly, not wanting her to go. 'Just saying.'

It's not that bad.
She voiced as an after thought to his comment. The academy wasn't that bad, not many people knew her and she kept to hersemf yet she knew that a lot of people there actually cared for each other and that was more than she could speak of of other schools.

She smiled at his comment and shrugged.
A date? Do you eat that with a fork?
She said with a bit of sarcasm, showing that she was starting to become comfortable around the male.

Why are people afraid of you then? Besides you thinking they are boring of course.
She asked curiously.

He shrugged, 'Well, I suppose I'm partly just bragging. But people do tend to think I'm a bit strange for one reason or another.' He saw the waitress walking by and sat up, attemting to get her attention. She failed to see him however, and walked past.
He made a face, 'What do I have to do? Flag her down?' He glanced at the red napkin on the table, no doubt this color as an attempt to be festive on this holiday, but thought better of it.
'I suppose I'll just wait...' He closed his eyes, his head inclined to the girl to show he was still listening. He was aware that he hadn't really answered her question, and wondered what she would say next, he found her suprisingly interesting.
