Quiet steps brought no attention to the dark figure as it made its way out of the forest's dim setting into the clear sunny clearing surrounding the small lake. REd and black fur ran down the canine's back, white paws slender and almost fragile looking. The slender muzzle lowered to the lake's surface and soon quickly rose, ears perked and listening. Blue eyes searched for what had made the sound, but seeing nothing returned her attention to the lake.
Lykos had finally reached this area, thinking she had caught the scent of another of her kind. Not her pack, she knew but still someone who might know. Sitting she decided to rest, enjoying the smells around her.
