Ahh, that would explain it. But hey, if you happen to be using Opera, you can use turbo mode to bypass blocked domains. You could use other proxies, but I'm not sure which are safe to use

Opera's a browser that has the same core as Google Chrome, but I found it to run much better in my old netbook compared to Chrome and Firefox, so it became a mainstay for me

If you're on a school computer, they might have just blocked the site. Updating your javascript on your computer is as easy as googling Java, going to the main website, and downloading the latest update. Java is basically used in all flashscripts and real-time stuff and websites.
