Private Finished And So The Alien Enters a Wolf's Den....

Okay. Let's try this again.

This was Ruby's second attempt on being on Earth and it was going a loooooooot better than what he experienced yesterday. There was no immediate dizziness or nausea when he got out the teleporter and they honestly felt fine. Super fine.

Ruby was back to the island because they were still job hunting. Last night didn't go to well so here they are again! Ugh. This was honestly not that fun.
Luckily this time Ruby was able to call up a couple places in advance now that he was getting the hang of this English thing. It made it easier than just showing up on the spot.

So on today's agenda he had an interview with the owner of some placed called Wolfsbane Bordello? Or was it The House of Volkov? He wasn't exactly sure on that. He only was interested in the place because he was told it was a brothel which was something he was very well experienced in already.

Ruby arrived a few minutes early so he ccould check out the place first. The extior was alright. He seen better. When he went inside though he was somewhat impressed. The place actually wasn't that bad. He floated around curiously examining basically everything from the way the wall were painted, the flooring, the decorations, and the furniture. He continued floating around until he made his way to the Bordello? He thinks?

Actually, he couldn't tell where he was actually supposed to go now. Huh. He didn't understand some of these signs or words.

Ruby turned to face the person who was greeting him and smiled. "Greetings." He wiggled his fingers at her as he floated closers. He actually spoke, he wanted to keep trying his English plus he wasn't trying to make a scene by just immediately speaking into some random stranger's mind.

Ruby shook his head at the words she was saying. He understood some of her words but he could make out what she was saying. He then nodded yes to the private appointment. That's was exactly what he was here for! "Yes. I am here for an appointment....job appointment?" What was the word again? It wasn't appointment right?

"I am here to be examined for a job at the bordello?"

Oooooh, the word was interview. Of course it was, duh Ruby.

Ruby eyed the curtain curiously, he actually didn't expect that or even noticed that was blocking stuff off. Well now he knew that this place was going to be some fun.

They just smiled and nodded and then followed behind Galena. All six of his eyes were just examining any and everything he also. The way things were decorated was different and unique to what he was used to, even the architectural design was different.

"Yes. I called in ahead of time." He said in response to Galena's question. Mistress Volkov, huh? That was an impressive sounding name. He wasn't sure if that was the person he spoke with on the phone or not but he was about to find out soon anyway.

Ruby noted the style change when they went up the stairs and to the office. It was noticeable a different from the rest of the place. He eyed some of the leather curiously as he tried to figure out what kind of material he was looking at. He assumed it was some kind of animal hide based off the texture and feeling of it.

Anyway, focus time. "Is Mistress Volkov here?"

Ruby turned to face the person who called his name and....oh. Oh my.
He smiled pleasantly at her as he laid his eyes on her. She was dressed extremely well and was just slaying that entire outfit. She definitely had his attention.

He placed his hands on his hips and waved his tail back and forth slowly when she started to look at him. He was dressed semi decent, just some legging and the sweater he had just got not that long ago. "I am...." He took a second to think of the word. "Flattered."

"You are dressed very well. I would kill you for the dress." He giggled a bit, not realizing how that actually sounded. He just then proceeded to float down into the seat when she ordered him to.

"Kalista Volkov. Mistress Kali." He repeated to himself so he could get the pronunciation right.

"Yes." He nodded in response to her words then took a second to think. "The Wolfsbane Bordello is for escorting, correct?"

Ruby got comfy in his seat and crossed his legs, resting his hands on his knee as he listened carefully to Kali's words. Some of the word he understood but some of them just weren't fully registering in his head. He frowned briefly but kept smiling.
It kinda sounded like what he was looking for?

"Perfect! This is why I am here." He nodded happily then frowned again.

"Hm, Do you mind if I talk with my mind? Easier communication." He finally asked. He's at least asking now instead of just doing it. He didn't want to take the risk of her freaking out and then just ending his interview.
