Staing on the rooftop, the rain fell down upon him, but Soryuju cared not. All he had to do was simple give a flick of the wrist, and viola, he could get rid of the rain all together or just keep it off of him.

He didn't do either though. He was in a non-caring mood. For the past 4, maybe 5 years, he had been truly alone, abandoned by the world. Or, from somes perspective, he abandoned the world. It's not like they cared though...

He looked up into the black sky. Through his training, his master had described the art of taking, giving, creating, and destroying a soul. It was something he longed to obtain. The ultimate power of life and death...

But this was his lust for power talking. In all reality, he just wanted it so he could stop those he cared for from dying. Such as his family, of which had passed away long ago.

He was mortally confused by everything. What purpose did he have...?

He didn't budge. He had felt something odd around the vicinity, so it didn't surprise him to find someone invisible behind him.

"No thanks, I'm quite alright." he said in an almost bitter tone.

He turned to look at her. "If I get tired of the rain, I'll blow it away. And I'm not affected by this type of cold. I had to train in a barren desert with nothing but ice surrounding me."

He sighed. "But if it just bothers you so..." he said aggrevatedly before standing up.
