Nix didn't know how he could have been so stupid. He trusted this dang school and now... Griffin is dead. He shouldn't have let Griffin out of his sight! It's too late now of course. "What's the use of having healing powers if everyone I love dies before I can heal them?" Nix thought out loud and wiped some tears from his eyes. He couldn't save his parents after the car crash and now Griffin was murdered. Nix would give anything to have them back. He just wanted to have his family again.

Nix and Griffin used to fight sometimes, Nothing major, Just brotherly arguments. Nix can't help thinking about all those times. How it didn't matter at all what they would fight about. Who cares about what restaurant they should have gone too?

Nix and Griffin did everything together. They were so close. Both of them didn't know their parents very well because they were busy doctors. So they really only had each other. How could Nix had let Griffin die? How could he have let Griffin down?

Death was heavy around Manta Carlos after the tsunami. There wasn't a place Shay could go that didn't have screaming spirits or -- She sighed. She shouldn't have been thinking about it.

Luckily, the school was one of the first things to be repaired, still, she didn't trust her footing on the towers as she surveyed the ground below. She had been right in the cusp of it all during the tsunami. Hell, she had pretty much been in the wave.

Shay would have been content walking alone the whole time, but she spotted a boy -- man? He was older than her. She would have turned and left, but he seemed sad. She didn't want to leave someone hurting.

Tentatively, Shay approached him. "Are you okay?"

"Are you okay?"

Nix turned towards the voice. It was a girl that was younger then him. She looked to be around Griffin's age. Nix debated lying about how he is feeling right now. Of course it would be very obvious that he was crying a moment ago. Just put a smile on your face and pretend you're happy. Nix sighed.

"I'm far from okay..." He admitted. Nix didn't know why he would tell her that. He was used to protecting Griffin from being hurt by the world. It was weird that he was talking to someone younger about his feelings.

"My brother was murdered by that killer." Nix said and sighed. "I'm all alone now." He said and looked down at the roof.

Shay was silent. She understood his pain, she really did, and there were no words she could give to help him, so instead, she closed the distance between them and stood near enough to him to put her shoulder against him. "I'm sorry. I can stand here with you if you want. You can talk, too, that's fine."

Shay looked down from the roof, wonder if she should share with him, too, but she wasn't comfortable with that.

Sky

The Tsunami that occurred was Sky's first time experiencing one. It was quite some time ago, but he still visibly remembers the event. He was at a certain mail lady's house tending to someone when it happened.

Flashback

"Ah don't budge. You, or should I say something that binds this universe together might break something due to being warped by that after effect of the ability you use." Sky nonchalantly said as he hurried over to offer lunch to the lady on the couch, wrapped in blankets. "It's been days, I wonder where did she run off to?"

"(...certain snarky reply)"

"Oye calm down, I helped with the fixing of your window. Oh and stop calling me that, I'm pretty sure I have one last time I checked."

He then heard faint rumbles, which he initially thought was an earthquake. But since the groundshake is way fainter than what it should be, he wondered why. He then went over the window and peered out, and much to his shock, found people running. He opened the window to look outside and found a ginourmous wave from afar where the people came from.

"Holy....Jesus, shit, uh, we need to get somewhere...fast. I'm serious." he uttered in a grim tone as he swiftly picked up supplies and the hapless lady and bolted out of the house.

Flashback End

He just couldn't get it out of his mind, bloated corpses scattered around, people being swept left and right, all those muggers he blasted- "No, I don't want to think of this" he thought as he wandered the messy stairways leading to the rooftops.

Ah, the rooftops, many memories were created here, and Sky thought that he could forget for awhile if he relaxed in a such familiar place. As he opened the door, which unusually made a creak, he found two people, both young looking, just right below of his age he guessed. He looked at them for a short while before greeting them.

"Hello there, what bring you guys out here in a time like this?"
