And I can feel the warning signs

Gabe nodded without uttering a word, though he disappeared for a moment after that. He returned with some tissues and plasters, and as nonchalantly as he could he placed them down on the table. He moved away from them, giving William a chance to use them if he wanted to.

"How do you know?" Gabe asked, suddenly gaining a defensive air, at least until he followed William's gaze. He saw the dirty ash tray he had forgot to put away, and the cigarette butts that were still in it. "Oh." He mumbled, embarrassed.

"It's...a bad habit?" Gabe supplied after a minute. "I would stop if I could, but I don't have the willpower to quit." He'd tried all of two times and both times he had done well for about two weeks before failing. He sighed, "please can we not talk about my smoking habits, it's not really something I'm comfortable talking about." It made him feel ashamed, he was damaging his health by doing it, yet he couldn't stop.

Gabe hoped William wouldn't find out about his drug use either, not that Gabe did anything too serious, just weed. But still, he didn't think his boyfriend would approve. He didn't do it often either so it wasn't like it was really a big issue.

<div align=center>William shrugged, he didn't care. He didn't much like the smell of cigarette smoke but who was he to forbid Gabriel from doing something? If he wanted to, fine, William wasn't going to shout at him or yell at him. He bound a length of tissue around himself, pulling the end off and tucking it in so it wouldn't fall off. He shuffled over, nuzzled himself up against Gabe and let his eyes flutter shut. He wanted to stay there for a little while, he wasn't sure how long, until he felt like moving, but for now he was comfortable. Bill tucked his knees underneath himself and giggled softly, "we can watch a movie if you like."

Though he thought maybe Gabriel had more than movies on his mind, but Bill didn't really mind too much, he couldn't say he thought it was a bad idea. He squashed himself neatly against Gabe, he hadn't gained a shirt since William had stolen it and his skin was soft and warm and Bill liked it a lot. He smelled nice, Gabe always smelled nice, though Bill couldn't have said what he actually smelled like. "What's the time?" He judged it to be maybe around ten past ten.</div>

As if guessing what Bill was thinking, Gabe patted him on the shoulder,
"Don't worry though I won't smoke inside," he hadn't been recently because he knew William came over a lot and he hadn't wanted him to find out. Bill had always struck him as the kind of person who would dislike smoking. Bill was smart.

Gabe smiled,
"Sure, I'd like to." He nodded, though he wasn't sure which movie they should watch. He didn't want them to end up arguing again, "so do you want to watch Silent Hill? I mean it's okay if you do get scared, I'll be here to comfort you. But that's not saying I think you're a wimp or anything, please don't be offended!" Gabe rushed the end of his sentence, his breathing heavy.

"It's nearly half ten," Gabe stifled a yawn. "It's getting late, isn't it?" He mumbled, pushing himself into Bill, he liked the warmth the boy gave.

<div align=center>Bill nodded, smoking inside ruined furniture, you could never ever get the smell out of material, it was awful. Half ten. Too late to start a movie now, William would probably fall asleep half way through it anyway. He frowned at Gabe, "let's do something else?" He asked, though he didn't really know what he was suggesting. He'd probably end up getting scared if they watched that anyhow, he was a wuss whether he wanted to admit it or not, and he didn't. William had his pride, to some extent at least. He didn't like to be embarrassed or humiliated, unfortunately he felt those things all too often.

The room was so quiet that it felt strange, "we don't have time to watch a movie, that'll take hours." Gabe's yawn had been passed onto him, though his was far louder. William was feeling sleepy and comfortable and there was an incredibly high chance he'd fall asleep right here. He could probably stay awake for a couple more hours though if he tried or if he was distracted, unfortunately movies weren't distracting enough, it was sitting still for too long and that lead to tiredness he couldn't come back from no matter how hard he tried.</div>

Gabe tilted his head, what was going through Bill's mind he wondered? "Hmmm," he mumbled, "what kind of something else?" He wasn't sure if it was the one he was thinking of, but he hoped it was, William touching his bare skin was making him horny , he couldn't help but admit it. Not out loud of course, but William could most likely hear his thoughts, he hadn't put his foil hat back on after his bath.

"Okay, I was under the impression that you wanted to but we have plenty of other evenings to do that, dude," Gabe nodded. If they watched a movie William'd probably fall asleep during or directly after it and they'd never get to do anything remotely naughty . Bill had told him earlier that he was ready now to do things , and Gabe was ready to take him up on that offer.

"Should we, I don't know, go to the bedroom or something?" Gabe asked, standing up. He needed to move his legs a little, he'd gotten tired sitting.

<div align=center>William's eyes flickered idly to the other side of the room, he wasn't sure why Gabe called it a bedroom, since everything was more or less in the same room. He'd been thinking more along the lines of chess or draughts, but he supposed that was fine too, he already knew the outcome of a chess game, anyhow, of course he'd win, why wouldn't he? Gabriel didn't strike him as the kind of person that would even own a chessboard, whereas Bill was relatively well practiced in it. It was a game of strategy, he liked that. "I will go to sleep if we watch a movie." He confirmed, laughing softly. He'd either fall asleep or get too frightened to fall asleep, neither was desirable right now.

It took him a little while to tune into the other boy's thoughts, and frankly they made him blush. He coughed awkwardly and laughed again, I already consented to it. He realized, not that he really minded too much, or at all, in fact. He frowned when Gabe stood up, he'd been enjoying his warmth. Bill pushed himself up and scrambled over the back of the couch, perching himself there and staring at Gabe, legs swinging lazily, he was too light to tip it over. "Alright."</div>

Gabe nodded and patted William on the head,
"You're so cute, you know it's a useful skill to have being able to fall asleep everywhere and anywhere." Gabe smiled, "it takes me ages because I'm always thinking about exciting things I could be doing rather than sleeping." Gabe enjoyed to be active, he didn't like having to stay still for too long.

His mother often told him he was incapable of staying still and she was probably right, he even tossed and turned a lot in his sleep, sometimes he woke up with his head down the opposite end to where it had started.

"You sure?" Gabe checked one last time. He was worried William might want to hit him by now, the amount of times he'd asked that question was probably annoying the heck out of his boyfriend, but he had to be sure [/i[ this time.

Gabe scooped William up off the couch and carried him to his bedroom.

<div align=center>Bill pushed his head into Gabe's hand as he was patted and purred very softly, he liked his head being touched, it didn't really matter who by, it was just comforting. "I like to sleep." Bill chirped, smiling at the other boy, he associated sleep with warmth and comfort and silence. Silence was something he appreciated very much. Sleep brought complete silence with it, and Bill loved it. He yawned and stretched, letting out a tiny little sigh afterward, he struggled when Gabe picked him up, slightly unsure of what was going on. He relaxed and clung to Gabriel a moment later, though, and rested his chin on his shoulder.

"I am sure." He stated, nodding just a little for reassurance. He'd already said he was okay with it, but Gabe was just making sure, Bill could feel he was just a tad weary, he patted his friend on the head and pressed a small, wet kiss to his temple. "I'm alright." He promised, smiling just a little and shifting a little to wrap both of his arms around Gabriel's neck. "Swear it." He laughed, squirming again and hooking both lets around the boy's waist for support. "I could have walked y'know, your bed is five meters from the couch. They're in the same room."</div>

"I like sleeping when I realise I've to get up and go to class," Gabe laughed, "but apart from that it just seems like a necessity to me," Gabe shrugged. "Maybe I'd enjoy it more if I was able to clear my mind, do some meditation or something, haha." He glanced at Bill, "you can meditate, can't you? I've seen you doing it. You should teach me." Gabe didn't think he'd fare very well with meditation though, he'd probably burst out laughing within half a second of starting. "Maybe it'd help me learn to control my powers or something," he doubted it.

"I wasn't going to hurt you," Gabe assured Bill as the boy struggled. The kiss made him feel a lot more reassured and left a warm glowing feeling throughout his body. "I believe you," he pressed another kiss to Bill's lips and let the boy down gently onto the bed. "Five metres is under-exaggerating, maybe like eight metres," Gabe stuck out his tongue. Bill was telling the truth it was cramped in here. But it was cosy .

<div align=center>"I like sleeping all the time." William stated, nodding a little. He could probably go to sleep even if he wasn't tired, it's like being dead without the commitment! He pushed himself up on to his hands and knees, and crawled steadily up to the pillows. Meditation was easy, you just had to more or less lose yourself, that was easy for Bill, he was a smart boy but he could clear his mind easily. "You have to learn." Gabe wouldn't take it seriously though, so there wasn't all that much point teaching him how to do it. It probably would help him control his powers, though, focus was the fix to most problems. "Yeah, it'd help."

He let out a short, contented little sigh and collapsed onto his back, letting his hands drop either side of his head. The pillows smelled like Gabriel and it was nice. He giggled, staring up at the ceiling. He pushed himself up a second later, his hair was mussed and his eyes were bright, he looked more or less like a little boy right now, which perhaps wasn't the best thing for this situation. He looked like he was too cute and too innocent to even think about kissing someone, let alone anything else.</div>
