Dragomir shouldn't be doing this. He had a project to get started, and at least a dozen commissions to do. But the guy he was with, Lysander, seemed interesting. An ace lust demon, how about that? And despite that Dragomir made him feel lust. Dragomir was always happy to help if Lysander wanted to go through with this experiment. Dragomir was an impulsive shit so why not go along with it.
And it had been some time from the last time he himself had fed.
Dragomir was humming a bit as he scanned the street they were walking along. There were so many coffee shops he couldn't choose one. So he turned to Lysander and raised his brows a bit.
"You did say you don't care for coffee but could you help me out a bit? There are too many options."
Dragomir smiled all pleasant like, trying to make the mood maybe a bit lighter. Dragomir didn't care, but maybe Lysander did. Especially since Dragomir's aura was still on, though still in minimal levels.
"Should we go generic and go to a Starbucks? But I think we should have some privacy, so a smaller place could be nice too. See? Too many options."
Dragomir shrugged, trying to look helpless.

This was strange for Lysander, very strange. But probably something he should be doing seeing as if he didn't feed soon he was going to start getting very sick. He was interested in the fact that he did feel something? Was that attraction? Towards Dragomir, because so few of the ones on the island with those kinds of auras affected him.

And after all, the whole point of him going to school was to fix his feeding problem. Not that anything they did or didn't do was going to be a permanent solution - and the one thing Lysander would never do was force himself on anyone. Every time he fed, he just felt dirty and used, and he wouldn't make someone else feel that way.

"You said you weren't affected by auras? Mine - it's not very strong yet. Simple attraction and sometimes makes me a target for violence, but not so much I need a bracelet." It got worse when he fed, another reason he didn't consider finding a way to make him attracted to people as a valid option. Lysander was not a masochist. But they could talk about that later. The topic vaguely disgusted him still, and he kind of hoped to keep this friendly first.

Lysander was calmer than he had been in the community center. Not exactly smiling, but no longer frowning either, though he hadn't dropped out of his demon form. "Most of the places I've travelled were more into tea. I seem to have picked up that habit... Actually if you're up for it, there's a little place around here that actually serves suutei tsai. They have normal tea too." The demigod was a soldier at heart - even if Dragomir was just putting on an act, he had no problem taking the lead.

Dragomir felt relieved Lysander didn't seem as tense as in the community center. Maybe he was getting used to Dragomir's aura. Dragomir always felt really guilty when some vampires or lust demons became uncomfortable or even angry because of his aura. In vampires' case Dragomir got really agitated. But lust demons he could handle.
So when Lysander asked him the question about auras Dragomir shrugged a bit and continued scanning the street.
"I'm not completely immune. But in case of lust demon and vampire auras the effect is normally halved or so. So I guess I would barely feel your aura in this situation. At least I don't feel abnormally attracted. Just the normal amount. Or maybe little more than that. After all, you seem like an interesting person. I find that attractive."
Dragomir turned to smile at Lysander, there was little mischief but mostly honesty in his smile. Dragomir didn't flirt. He didn't like circling around the issue, partly because flirting sometimes included lying and lying could get Dragomir killed.

Dragomir listened to Lysander's shop recommendation and thought, again, why the hell not?
"In that case, lead the way. I want to try suutei tsai now."
Dragomir made a gesture for Lysander to take the lead and Dragomir would proceed to follow Lysander.
"And I think you will learn that I'm often up for many things. Including exotic teas."
Dragomir smiled at Lysander again, there were no other meanings to his words. Dragomir was the kind of person to go with the flow. But he did hope that Lysander didn't have any violent kinks if their experiment came to be.

Lysander gave a half smile at Dragomir's comment. He hated being attractive. Petite and pretty, even without the aura he would probably draw unwanted attention, but it was useful when he needed to feed. That it drew violence as well was a little more problematic - it had been more of a pain off island around soldiers, though, and redirected it rather than producing it. Dragomir seemed laid back enough that that part probably wouldn't have affected them even without their resistance.

Still, he didn't mind being called interesting. Lysander was a friendly man, for the most part, a team player, and he was fine with non-romantic attachments. He was also generally honest - he didn't go into his life story with most people, but he saw no point in not being straightforward. "You seem interesting too. For what it's worth."

The casual walking and talking was a welcome distraction. And Lysander's grin was genuine when Dragomir said he was willing to try the suutei tsai. He wasn't exactly Mongolian, but it was the first place he'd travelled to on Earth, and the place he always returned. "Most people outside of Mongolia find it different because of the salt. In many ways I grew up there. What about you, where was your home before you came to the island?"

"Part of me enjoys the familiar. I know what I like. But change is not always bad. I'm willing to take a risk sometimes. " Even though Lysander was a soldier at heart, even his hobbies coloured by violence, Dragomir had no need to worry about any vicious kinks. The demigod was a generous lover, keeping those sides of him carefully separated, more interested in giving his current partner pleasure because he never expected any for himself.

Dragomir considered it a job well done that he was able to draw a genuine smile out of Lysander. The man had seemed to be on the melancholy or stoic side so his smile felt like a trophy of some sort. Dragomir gave himself a small pat on the back(figuratively, of course) and answered Lysander's half smile with his own.
"I think it's worth a lot, so I'll keep that compliment. Thank you."
Dragomir grinned a bit and pretended to catch something from the air and stuff it in his pocket.

Dragomir hadn't the faintest idea what tsuutei tsai was but he was intrigued when Lysander said they put salt in it.
"I have to admit I had no idea what I was signing up for when you said tsuutei tsai. It's mongolian and has salt in it? Well, sign me up. I'm ready for new flavours anytime. If I can survive ghost pepper challenge at the fair I can survive tsuutei tsai."
Dragomir grinned back at Lysander, and fisted his hands trying to look determined.

When Lysander asked about Dragomir's birthplace he didn't tense much. His muscles just jumped a bit, like they always did when someone asked that of Dragomir. He hadn't had a traumatizing or hard past, not exactly. But it felt like the past of someone else. So Dragomir didn't enjoy sharing it, it felt more private than it really was.
"Romania. I lived in Romania. Doesn't it seem appropriate for vampire to come from Romania? Transylvania, Dracula and all that."
Dragomir turned his head a bit to smile at Lysander.

Dragomir could understand the need for familiar surroundings, for a routine. He had forced himself in those back in Romania, living from day to day afraid someone might find him out. Coming to Manga Carlos had helped him be himself.
"It's not like I try to go out of my way to try new things. I'm impulsive, and things just happen. I like that side of myself, to be honest. It gives me inspiration to make clothes, or chances meet interesting people like you."
Dragomir glanced at Lysander and a small smile played on his lips.
"Though because of my disposition interesting people tend to gather around me."
