Anastasia, as she goes by in her human form, appears as a woman in her late twenties too early thirties with a feminine, curvaceous build. She has neck length silver hair that is almost white and bright red eyes.

Her demon form is not too different from the hips up. Beyond this, she has three pairs of deep red segmented eyes and a mouth with serrated shark-like teeth. From the waist down however, she is a massive black spider with a white skull-like marking on her abdomen. Where her human legs were, she has pedipalps covered in armored carapace. Her arms are similarly covered nearly to her shoulders in this carapace.

Anastasia seems to be a kind, fun-loving woman who enjoys simple pleasures in life. She seems a bit on the naive side and tends to trust others a bit too much.

Nothing could be further from the truth however. Anathema is conniving, manipulative, and ultimately a trap setting predator as befits her nature as a spider. She wants nothing more than to cause dissent and chaos, and especially to make specific people pay for casting her out.

Anathema is able to shift from her human form into her more natural spider demon form. She cannot shift in areas of bright light.

Anathema’s bite (in both forms) and her claws (in her demon form) carry a potent magical venom in them. It causes the person affected to have intensely lowered inhibitions. At the same time, it makes any suggestion Anathema makes more potent, making them more susceptible to her words. The venom lasts about fifteen minutes. Multiple doses both reset the time but do increase the effect. The venom also clouds the memories of the victim from a few minutes before they were envenomed until after it wears off.

Anathema can create silk that is ten times as strong as steel of similar thickness. It can be adhesive or not. She can walk on webs that she makes from her silk as though she were weightless and does not stick to the adhesive silk.

Arachne Agility
Anathema is agile, able to make thirty foot vertical jumps. Her reaction time is also much higher than a human’s, allowing her to dodge bullets and catch slow moving projectiles. She can also cling to any surface, even upside down along ceilings.

Arachne Physique
In her human form, Anastasia is twice as good as a human in terms of strength and speed. In her Arachne form, she is six times better.

Arachne Claws
In her demon form, Anathema's claws can heavily scratch steel and her leg spikes can punch through an inch of steel with minimal effort. Her carapace is also hard enough to block up to small arms fire.

Arachne Stealth
In her demon form, Anathema makes no sound and is very difficult to smell. She blends in well with shadows.

Soulbound Immortality
Anathema does not age. So long as the other half of her soul lives, she cannot be truly destroyed. After being killed, as long as her other half still lives, she will regenerate in a dark, abandoned place over a period of several months. She also knows the whereabouts and emotions/well-being of her other half. This is a one-way connection.

Anastasia can devour anything with no ill effects. She can chew through metal and drink bleach with no harm to herself.

Anathema must eat the meat of sapient creatures in order to survive. Caffeine has the same effect on her as alcohol has on humans.

Sexual Feeding
Anathema must engage in some form of sexual acts with someone every three to four days or her health will rapidly decline.

Water and steam
Anathema cannot swim in her demon form. She also has immense difficulty breathing in areas of heavy steam in either form.

Hunger
Anastasia hungers greatly and requires more food than normal in order to survive. The general amount is three times what a person of her size should normally have to.

Anathema was not born, but created. She was a section of soul torn from her other half because the two were incompatible. She was tossed into a vault with precious things in the Vaults of Mammon, where she festered and grew. As she grew, the only thing she could focus on was her rage. The people she hated.
