Zoraida just smiled in understanding when Aedan said that the conversation was making him a tad bit homesick. "Ah, yes, the rain." she chuckled, "Who would have ever thought we'd miss that?!"" she said with a tiny shake of her head. "Does your family still live outside of London?" she asked as she got up and helped herself to a bit more tea.
"Thank you for the warning, I will heed it. Although to be honest, I've already had the displeasure of meeting a few of the islands not so trustworthy individuals," she confessed with a slight frown. "Who would have thought that in England, I'd hardly ever had any serious problems, but I move to this, this paradise island..." she said, actually meaning it, for she did see Manta Carlos as a type of paradise, "And in less than a month, I have had more trouble than all my years there. It's just uncanny..."
Uncurling her legs, Zora sat up a bit straighter as Aedan talked, "When companies change hands, things often go south for a while." she said, understanding how new owners almost always wanted to imprint themselves on the company and this move always caused problems in the short term. "But it sounds like you are happy with your decision, no?" Zora stated as she looked at Aedan, thinking he looked rather young for one who seemed so mature, in control and poised. She also wondered just what abilities he had, and was he strong or capable enough to go against somebody like her brother or Altizica...
"Do you mind me asking this? But have you ever had to protect anyone from a demon?
