It was a little before three in the morning when Natasha finally got off work at the MCSS, changed into a pair of tight jeans and a low-cut crop top, and made her appearance at Popov, Pietro's nightclub. Normally, she might have opted to meet somewhere quieter and less ... open and busy, but after the very public attack by Citizens Against Evil on her organization, the vampiress found that she felt safer surrounded by her brethren. She also felt secure in the knowledge that Pietro wouldn't let anything happen to her... which Natasha, who was normally fiercely independent, had to admit was not something she had ever thought she would desire.
"Good evening, Mr. Popov is expecting me," she told the vampire that guarded the stairwell that went up to Pietro's office as she deftly slipped under his arm, not waiting for a reply as she moved quickly up the stairs, her footfall quiet save for the light clacking of her heels on the worn granite steps.
"Mon lev?" Natasha called out as she rapted a few times on the massive wooden door to Pietro's office. "Are you busy?" she asked in a questioning tone before she very slowly slid open the door just in case Pietro had a guest or was entertaining a client and needed a moment to compose himself.
