Mike nodded "It's sort of difficult. It's kinda like riding a bike. It takes a while to learn but then it becomes a simple knowledge. You kinda want to....focus all energy you have in your eyes and just.....switch it on. It's hard to explain. Just try to........your eyes have two lenses, normal and x-ray. You want to try and switch it." Mike shrugged. He didn't know how to activate it. He didn't have it.

"Okay. Let's see..." Caroline froze and stayed like that for a while staring at Mike's chest with her eyes wide open. She exerted herself intensely to switch on the x-ray lenses but it didn't work. She gritted her teeth in anger and gave Mike a piercing glance.
"Rubbish!" She clamoured obviously displeased with the result.
"If you were as capable as you claim you are, wouldn't you have thought of some simpler way to activate this ability? Stuuupid!"

She turned her back to him in one sharp move and started walking slowly towards the door on the other side of the room. "Bye Mike." She waved without turning her head to look at him and without giving him any explanation why and where she intended to go.

"Caro-" Before he could even finish her name she was leaving. Where she was going, one could only guess. Follow her? "Wow that's the smartest idea ever Osiris! I wish I thought of that!" The sarcasm easily heard in his voice. Mike began to walk, trying to catch up to Caroline. That's the fastest Ive ever seen anyone leave you. Huh. Well Seth looks like you win the bet. Seth gave a chuckle of approval, Mike simply rolled his eyes. "Caroline come on! It just takes practice! I would have made it easier if I had all the materials I used to have."

Caroline stopped.
"The materials you used to have, eh?" She rushed back to him furiously and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "So where are those now?!"
'Is there someone else more important who he used them on?!'
After a couple of seconds she realized how close their faces were so she let go and made a step back.
"Fi...First I wanted to have fun with you, but since I still can't fully use my body that was impossible... Then I decided try my special ability, but I couldn't even do that! So what am I good for?" She was on a verge of tears, her eyes fixed on the floor.

Mike chuckled "You would never believe me if I told you the story." He immediatly stopped chuckling after he saw her head to the floor. He felt bad for her. He couldn't think of anything.....so he just hugged her tight. "Caroline.....If I thought you were useless I wouldn't have brought you back. No. Your one of the most important people to me. So what if you can't use your X-Ray yet? I never expected you to use it the first time you tried. So what if you can't fully use your body yet? It will only take a day. Quit worrying about yourself and just....think of the positive. That's what got me through all those years......all those years.."

Caroline didn't expect him to do that, but it felt nice being in his arms, so although she was still angry, she decided not to push him away. She relaxed and her mood gradually changed as he spoke.
"Well... If I can't do anything else I can at least listen to you some more... I have no memories, right? So I need to get to know you all over again."

Mike smiled and let go, taking a few steps back and looked her in the eyes. "Well what do you want to know about me? I am almost a complete open book! There are a few subjects....I'd rather not talk about but other than that I'll say anything about me!" Mike gave a quick smile at Caroline as the AI's buzzed. I don't think being so open is a good idea Mike......you have no idea what she might do with that info..."

'A few subjects he'd rather not talk about? Why would he be hiding anything from me?... Well, I'll find it out sometime for sure.'
She looked at him full of suspicion for a moment and then her expression changed drastically, she smiled as if nothing bothered her at all.
"Just, tell me some facts about you, what do you like, what do you hate... What do you do for living and such. Anything you'd like me to know."
She sat on the chair and picked a paper and a pen from Mike's desk and started drawing something. "Don't mind me, speak..."

Mike shrugged "Well.....I used to be the Vice Admiral of an intellegence organization. I'd prefer if I didn't get into that, that's one of the subjects I don't like getting into. Let's see......I love my wife of course, I love technology, and don't get me started on tinkering." Mike gave a happy smile before frowning. "On the other side, I HATE extraterresials.....I guess I could learn to like them but I currently HATE THEM WITH A BURNING PASSION!" Mike took a few deep breaths, trying to regain his calm.

'Vice Admiral, eh? Not bad Caroline, nice catch!' She grinned exultantly over the fact her husband was such an important person. 'But why would he prefer to avoid that subject?... Weirdo.'
"Hmmm? Why would you hate extraterrestrials?"
Caroline looked like she was disinterested in his talk since she was still drawing, without raising her head to look at him even when she spoke.
