APPEARANCE:
Amber has long, bouncing blonde hair that reaches to her waist, normally somewhat contained with a trailing ribbon headband that's almost as long as her hair. Her orange eyes are always sunny and cheerful, and she has practically a permanent smile on her face. A petite 158cm, her height is a bit of a sore point to her, and she hates when people call her short. She has a fairly interesting fashion sense, choosing to go with rather old-fashioned, steampunky style clothes over more modern fashion. When in her school uniform, she always has a sweater tied around her waist since she feels the cold very easily.
PERSONALITY:
Exuberant and practically glowing with happiness, Amber is like the sun on a rainy day. As bright as her name suggests, she is constantly brimming with energy and chipperly active, bouncing from place to place and never really staying still. She is rarely ever sad or upset, and finds it hard not to smile. Sometimes, this gets her in trouble, as she can seem to take things too lightly or just be annoyingly happy. She befriends people and lets them in easily, naïve and always willing to see the best in people despite evidence to the otherwise. She is deeply empathetic, noticing mood shifts quickly, but aside from that is a little air-headed and clumsy; sometimes she doesn't even noticing things happening around her in the real world.Both unbelievably kind and generous, these characteristics are not just second nature to her, but are intensified by her power. No matter what the scenario, she's always ready to help, and is never afraid to use her ability to save people even though it puts her at risk: her power heals others by sapping her own energy. Although she is happy-go-lucky most of the time, as soon as she sees someone else get hurt or get sad, she becomes starkly clinical, and will try to protect the one who is hurt. Her biggest fear is not being able to help someone in pain.

POWERS:
- Mystic Healer
- She has the power to heal wounds, but the process requires intense focus and energy. She essentially transfuses her own energy and healing capabilities into another to help recuperate their wounds, but such a process in turn leaves her exhausted. The personal toll and time required to heal the wound is dependent on the severity, ex: a paper cut would be near instantaneous while a broken leg would take an hour or more.
- Increased self-healing
- As a secondary to her ability to heal others, Amber's own wounds heal quicker than usual. However, if she has recently healed another, she loses the ability to recover herself.
- Solar-powered:
- Amber is literally powered by the sun. Basking in the sunlight helps not only to strengthen her power but also provides her with an energy boost.
BIOGRAPHY:
Once, when she was a child, she was playing in the garden with her neighbours daughter. They were climbing trees, giggling and seemingly heedless of danger, until one of the branches snapped under their feet and they both fell, plummeting to the ground. While Amber escaped with minor scratches, her friend landed badly on her ankle and promptly began to cry.
Immediately, Amber was by her side, asking where it hurt and what was wrong. Her calm demeanour seemed to soothe the other as she pointed to her ankle with shaky hands, and Amber's instincts chose that moment to kick in. She had no idea what was going on, but she placed her hand on the ankle and closed her eyes and thought vividly about the pain going away. As sobs faded to hiccups, she opened her eyes again with a yawn, only to see the girl staring shocked at the foot which had seemed to miraculously heal.
Her grandmother was ecstatic when she found out, and from that day on, Amber vowed to master her skills and become the best healer she could be because she loved seeing someone else happy. Her friend promised to keep Amber's secret and they still keep in touch to this day, even after she was sent to Manta Carlos Island and Starlight Academy where she currently is residing in the dorms and partaking in studies.
