Althea is the definition of 'a woman scorned.' Her wrath is not explosive anger or loud voices, it slips in quietly and tears a person apart inch by inch. When Althea feels she's been wronged by someone she will hate them eternally, and it is near impossible to make her change or mind or even have her admit that they could have good qualities.

She is the type of person who feels justified in all she does and adheres to her own moral code. She doesn't lie, she doesn't cheat, and she never ever breaks a promise. In fact, those who do any of these things immediately end up on her shitlist.

Althea's deals and bets are never fair, she likes to put the odds against people, but she's at least upfront about her intentions. Despite this, Althea is of the opinion that everyone around her is a social climber and a liar. They all do nice things for one reason or another, but she knows they want something and she'll be damned if she's going to be the one to give it to them without making them work to Hell and back first.

That isn't to say Althea has no good qualities. She's honest, hardworking, and driven. She doesn't tend to feel much in the way of sadness or long-term regret. When she has a problem, she fixes it. When she is the problem, she works on herself.

Moving forward is a must to Althea and she's almost never willing to show people around her that she has weaknesses, or that something has hurt her feelings. Instead, she further roots herself in her course of action or stance even if she knows she's wrong because at the very least she has conviction, which too many people lack nowadays.

Actives

Bestowal: Althea can unlock people's latent abilities through touch. It only takes a second of skin-to-skin contact to begin the process. The process itself is not instantaneous and tends to start out with sparks of power that gradually increase over the span of a few days to a month until the ability has hit its peak.

Soul Manifestation: Like other members of her species, Althea can manifest an object representing her soul. While stronger members of the Regalis can summon dozens of objects, Althea can only summon one: her jacket. Her jacket is where all of her magic is stored, but beyond help her channel her ability, it does nothing else. It cannot be stolen from her, as she can just remanifest it.

○ Althea came from a spiritual world, along with many other Regalis for A Game of Divine Rights. It was their chance to leave home and bond with someone on a different plane.

○ Because Althea never got along well in her home, she decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, she was paired up with probably the worst person in the entire world. Once he found out she could unlock latent abilities, he tried to cozy up to her. Unfortunately, she's played that game before.

○ As retribution for his cruelty, Althea is making the one she pact with go through a series of difficult challenges that keep stacking against him before she's willing to unlock any latent abilities he may have. She might be having a little too much fun with it.

Althea lives at the school. She has no job, so her only source of income right now is the school's alllowance.
