Fluffy walked to the waters edge and stared at her reflection in the water. She was half-aware that her tiny paws were getting wet, but didn't pay attention to it. Instead, she just kept standing there for who-knows-how-long.
Along The Lake, A Cat Walks

High in the air above the trees, a flying figure could be seen soaring. It was a pigeon. It had been flying non-stop for almost a half hour now. It found a resting place within the trees on a branch. It gracefully landed on the branch then suddenly it was changing shape. The shape grew into the figure of a human. This figure was Lumis, shape-shifter.
He looked down from the tree and noticed a cat walking by near the lake. A cute looking cat he thought. An idea had come to his mind. He shifted into the form of a white alley cat, the kind you would normally find on the streets and climbed down the tree. Slowly it strolled around the shore of the lake while watching this other cat carefully.

Fluffy sensed, if not saw that there was another cat around. Her head popped up and she looked around, her gaze finally settling on the other form. Backing away from the water, she walked over near the cat, her tiny brow pressed down. She wondered when it had arrived, and if it knew she was there.
Lumis scanned the area to admire the vicinity. While gazing around in his cat form, his eyes met with the other cat. It was approaching him. What to do, he thought. He took a few steps toward her to greet the other cat. He blurting out a soft "meow". It was his way of saying "Hello." whenever he was in that cat form.
Fluffy guessed that since he hadn't spoken to her in English, he didn't know she was actally a human(of sorts). She answered with her own 'meow', smiling slightly. She sat down in the soft green grass and watched him.
From the way she responded, she probably couldn't tell that he was human either. He walked over to the shore, his paws slightly getting a feel for the water. He sat, then began to change shape again. He reverted to his human state. He laid back on the grass, looking up into the sky, saying and doing nothing.
((Aww, I wanted a cat fight. :( Oh well. ))
Fluffy stared at him befor shrugging. She decided to pretend she was only a cat. So standing, she walked over to him and got near his face. She meowed again and pawed gently at his cheek.

Lumis closed his eyes. The feeling of serenity was a good one for him. He wasn't planning on letting anything disturb him, that was, until he heard a 'meow' and felt a something on his face. Startled, he quickly morphed back into his cat form and shrieked. What was that for, he thought.

Fluffy jumped back slightly at the shriek. She shook her head at him. She'd never known a person to freak out by a cat. It was a weird feeling to know she had caused him to do that. Staring at him oddly, she hesitantly reached out and pawed at his nose, wanting to see if he would shriek again.

Lumis had to take a moment to try to calm his nerves. He took a few steps toward the other cat and examined her. She appeared to peaceful looking creature, the innocent looking kind. His tail swooned softly as he gazed at her when she pawed him, showing some interest. He simply meowed again. He was tempted to paw back at her, but decided against it.
