Elva ran into the forest, checking behind her to make sure no one was following. She had to be alone. Starlight Academy was making her way too social... and Elva didn't like that. She couldn't keep friends, she'd just let them down. She'd save someone they hated.
That's why she couldn't enter that competition. She didn't have a good enough power to fight with, and would just end up saving the other person if she did. She had to be very careful here, there seemed to be pain everywhere. She'd saved someone earlier in the library, from something small, a few books falling. That was nothing compared to what there could be.
Elva delved deeper into the forest, where she couldn't hear anyone else, or see anyone else. It got darker and darker. Elva ran until her legs wore her out and she sat down on a large rock. She leaned against a tree, and began to day dream. She was by herself, and she liked it.
