There was a woman in one of the many palm trees. Sketching on a notepad, and obviously thinking deep. Not that you could see her. It was night, and she blended in well. She was drawing from the light that came from the moon, however little it was. It was not long untill she put the notepad down and watched the water. it was glimmering the light of the moon and slighting unsteady. Then again, water was usually unsteady.
Klay hadn't been very cooperative to the classes she was supposed to go to, and usually spent her time in places no one could get to. At night, she usually did not see many people walking along the sand, or swimming.

Instead of human tracks there were paw prints in the sand. They were small and the owner was slender. The canine that walked through the sand had dark coloring except for the white on her paws, underbelly and lower jaw. Blue eyes looked up, nose twitching as it smelt something.

Lykos started searching the trees with her eyes, knowing something other than a bird was in one. Bushy til twitched and she started moving again, still looking up.

Klay saw movement. A dog. Walking on the beach? Not a concidence. She wondered why it was out, and saw that it had smelt her and was looking for her. The tree she had picked was tll and wide, unusual for a palm tree.

Soon she saw a slight movement and head turned to one of the odder trees. The scent was stronger there, and even though she couldnt see that well from darkness, her sense of smell was nebe wrong.

Tail wagged and she let out a friendly yip.

Klay sighed and slipped her notepad into her pack. She hoped that this person wasn't using powers to be a dog, because Klay didn't want them to be transformed back. They seemed nice as a dog.
Tightening her mask, she jumped down from the tree and walked to the dog. It looked friendly enough, so her power cancellation swirched off. For now.
She scratched it on the head, her eyes spaekling. Just because she couldn't smile didn't mean she could have fun.

As she came down the canine gave another yip. Eyes that looked at her held intelligence, but not of a humans. She let her scratch her head for a moment before running off slightly, turning to face the woman and barked.

Klay tilted her head but knew the dog wanted her to follow. So she did, her feet making no noise on the sand. She wondered where this dog was taking her, but knew it was either a bone or something it took to be important. If it was another person, she could leap back into the darkness and her tree, or just stand there.

Soon the dog ran back into the trees and came out, producing a stick in its jaws. Growls were playul as it waited for her. It held all the seriousness of a puppy, though it was obviously older.

Klay took the stick and threw it. It landed close to the water, but not in it. She wonderd if the dog would take it, bring it halfway back, then start chewing it, or take it back all the way and let her throw it again/

It took off after the stick, but getting near the water it looked hesitant. Finally it grabbed the stick in its jas and took off after her. Running all the way back to her it waited for the woman to try and take it, this time it wasnt going to let go.
