She sat down in a chair near the corner and put her books in her lap and leaned over them. "Man, I need a room, my first class starts tomorrow and I don't even have a room mate...", she buried her hands in her face, and just thought to herself about what she was gonna do...

"She seems nice," mused a voice from a chair a few feet away. Chancy tipped an imaginary hat to Shiva. "I'm Chancy, by the way. Nice to meet you. I take it you are new as well? I just got here yesterday." He smiled and shut the book he was reading. "So, a princess are you?"

"Um,hi. I didn't see you there. Yeah, I just got here today." Shiva said. "My name is Shiva. Did you hear everything Chancy?"

Chancy smiled sheepishly and nodded. "I sincerely apologize. I seem to have been cursed with excellent hearing, no matter how hard I try not to listen." His smile widened. "It's nice to know I'm not the only knew face around here."

"It's alright, I am just getting tired of explaining myself." Shiva replied. "I appologies if I appeared angry. I am looking for someone the talk to for like... ever." Shiva smiles slightly.

Chancy smiled back. "I suspect we won't have to explain ourselves for long. And there is no need to apologize. So," he said kindly, trying to make conversation, "if you don't mind me asking, what are your abilities?"

"I can manipulate water on can turn water and other liquid into ice. How about you?" Shiva asked being a little more open.

Chancy smiled and shrugged. "Nothing special. I can control storms to a degree, but not overly huge ones, and thunderstorms are the best."
