Alone at the lake

Jonathon tripped and fell face flat into the water. He hadn't expected to see someone else here, especially in this weather, and seeing that it was a girl made him even more nervous. Girls confused him, and he always got very nervous, and even a bit afraid around them.

He came up to the surface and shook his head, water droplets splashing everywhere. He rubbed his gray eyes and slowly opened them, and looked at the girl, his pale cheeks becoming bright red. "Um... uh... h-hello.."
