Maura had been talking to Berserker for the past hour of course he never talked she did. He soon motioned he had to go and she caught on. She told him to be back the next day, but little did she know she'd get lost on the way home. It was slightly dark at 7:00pm and the forest only made it more dark. There was a murderous feel in the air, of course Maura was as bad as a murderer but that didn't stop her. She wasn't afraid of what lurked, she sighed thinking about how dull it was without Berserker. She wondered what his real name was, she had been in thought for a while and totally missed any signs of where she was. When she snapped out of it, there was barely any light. She looked around shocked, she had no clue where she was.

She wanted to call Berserker, but she couldn't call him again this day. She walked slowly timidly through the forest, she didn't want her tough shell to break or for people to think of her as helpless. She sat on a broken log. "I'll just stay here, Berserker will come for me in the morning." She said curling up on a log, she was cold since it was still spring and it was cold. She didn't want to panic so she forced herself to try and sleep.

Topher was sitting in the middle of the forest, enjoying the silence, when he heard footsteps. He raised his eyes to watch her approach, but didn't say anything to alert her of his presence, since she was obviously deep in thought. He didn't like talking to people, because their words were always loud and annoying.

However, when she stopped, her facial features changing to shock, and then curling up on a log and saying something about Berserker, he did speak, in his low, quiet voice, "You're in the forest by Starlight Academy, in case you're wondering." he didn't move, however, and remained in his position, sketch book propped over one knee.

He didn't really care if she spoke to him or not, but he figured he might as well let her know where she was.

Maura stayed curled up, "I see, I'm just tired is all." She knew she was in the forest by Starlight Academy. She just didn't know how to get back to Starlight Academy. She was trying to remain who she was, she tried to act nonchalantly about this. Her eyes wandered to where the boy was, she didn't want to seem desparate for company so she stayed curled up on the log.

"What brings you out here when it's getting dark? Vampire perchance?" She didn't care if she was taking chances she knew she could still run, and she had some resourceful ideas in her head so she wouldn't die.

She looked at the boy from where she was and wondered why he chose to be out when it was darkening. She noted his sketch pad and knew he wouldn't be a vampire seeing his love of drawing and silence. Or that's what she could tell from what she saw of him, of course she didn't know him well enough to verify that.

He was a bit startled by her voice. It held a sweet tone to it, but his keen hearing picked up on something not so sweet lurking behind it. He'd have to be careful with this one. Of course, there was a small piece of something, maybe fear? lodged in the back of her voice as well, so she was as unsure of him as he was of her.

He decided not to give her an affirmative or negative answer on whether or not he was a vampire, instead simply saying, "Perhaps," in a noncommital tone. he closed the sketchbook, since it was too dark to finish, and she was now here, turning his green eyes to her face.

"And what, may I ask, are you doing out here?" he asked, his voice dull, not really much of anything. He was still speaking quietly, so as not to grate on his own hearing, and he waited for her to speak, tensing himself for the loud break in the silence.

Maura grumbled, she sat up. "Vampires are annoying little pests, if your one of them you should kill yourself." She did this in a mad/annoyed tone, she sounded authentic. But she figured if he was one he'd get angry and try to kill her or suck her blood. She didn't mind though, she could fake that she was one too with her gleaming red eyes. She looked at him, somehow she doubted he was a vampire. If it was because of his eyes she wasn't sure, she felt uneasy with him. Maybe it was because she wished Berserker was here so they could slaughter someone.

The girl sighed answering him boredly, "I'm going back home after playing with my pet." She said as if it was obivious, though no one would suspect her pet was a huge creature with incrediable strength that loved killing people as much as a dog loved treats. Maura loved killing too, mainly because it was her form of revenge to those who wrecked her life with loniliness.
